Container

Abstract

A container ( 2 ) comprises a bottom part ( 5 ) and a lid part ( 4 ), wherein the lid part ( 4 ) comprises a rectangular lid area ( 6 ) connected at three edges ( 7, 8, 9 ) with corresponding flanks ( 10, 11, 12 ). A fourth edge ( 3 ) of the lid area ( 6 ) is pivotably connected with the bottom part ( 5 ), and the bottom part ( 5 ) comprises a rectangular bottom area ( 17 ) and four lateral wall areas ( 22, 23, 24, 25 ) assigned to a respective edge ( 18, 19, 20, 21 ) of the bottom area ( 17 ). To improve a container of said type in a manner that said container satisfies all requirements in relation to the transportation and consumption of a corresponding food with means that in terms of construction are as simple as possible, at least one of the lateral wall areas ( 22, 23, 24, 25 ) of the bottom part ( 5 ) is pivotable about the edge ( 18, 19, 20, 21 ) of the bottom area connecting this lateral wall area and the bottom area.

A container ( 2 ) with a bottom part ( 5 ) and a lid part ( 4 ), wherein the lid part ( 4 ) comprises a rectangular lid area ( 6 ) connected at three edges ( 7 ,  8 ,  9 ) with corresponding flanks ( 10 ,  11 ,  12 ), wherein further a fourth edge ( 3 ) of the lid area ( 6 ) is pivotably connected with the bottom part ( 5 ), and wherein the bottom part ( 5 ) comprises a rectangular bottom area ( 17 ) and four lateral wall areas ( 22 ,  23 ,  24 ,  25 ) assigned to a respective edge ( 18 ,  19 ,  20 ,  21 ) of the bottom area ( 17 ), characterized in that at least one of the lateral wall areas ( 22 ,  23 ,  24 ,  25 ) of the bottom part ( 5 ) is pivotable about the edge ( 18 ,  19 ,  20 ,  21 ) of the bottom area connecting this lateral wall area ( 22 ,  23 ,  24 ,  25 ) and the bottom area ( 17 ).

A container according to  claim 1 , characterized in that two, three, or four of the lateral wall areas ( 22 ,  23 ,  24 ,  25 ) are pivotable about the edge ( 18 ,  19 ,  20 ,  21 ) of the bottom area ( 17 ) connecting the corresponding lateral wall area ( 22 ,  23 ,  24 ,  25 ) and the bottom area ( 17 ). 
     
     
         3 . A container according to  claim 2 , characterized in that the bottom area ( 5 ) is foldable to a flat position. 
     
     
         4 . A container according to  claim 3 , characterized in that a connecting lug ( 26 ) is provided between two neighboring lateral wall areas ( 22 ,  23 ,  24 ,  25 ). 
     
     
         5 . A container according to  claim 4 , characterized in that the connecting lug ( 26 ) comprises a folding line ( 33 ) along the bisecting line between the two neighboring lateral wall areas ( 22 ,  23 ,  24 ,  25 ). 
     
     
         6 . A container according to  claim 5 , characterized in that the connecting lug ( 26 ) protrudes into the interior of the bottom part ( 5 ) in an approximately box-shaped position of the bottom part ( 5 ). 
     
     
         7 . A container according to  claim 6 , characterized in that a recess ( 30 ) is provided at an outer edge ( 29 ) of a connecting lug ( 26 ). 
     
     
         8 . A container according to  claim 7 , characterized in that the recess ( 30 ) is arranged in a middle region of the outer edge ( 29 ) of a connecting lug ( 26 ) in particular symmetrically to the bisecting line between the two neighboring lateral wall areas ( 22 ,  23 ,  24 ,  25 ). 
     
     
         9 . A container according to  claim 8 , characterized in that the recess ( 30 ) is arranged approximately on half of the height of the lateral wall area relative to the bottom area ( 17 ) in case the lateral wall areas ( 22 ,  23 ,  24 ,  25 ) are arranged perpendicular relative to the bottom area ( 17 ). 
     
     
         10 . A container according to  claim 9 , characterized in that the dimensions of the bottom area ( 17 ) are approximately equal or at least partially slightly smaller than the dimensions of the lid area ( 6 ). 
     
     
         11 . A container according to  claim 10 , characterized in that the three flanks ( 10 ,  11 ,  12 ) of the lid part ( 4 ) are fixed to each other such that they are each arranged approximately perpendicular to the lid area ( 6 ). 
     
     
         12 . A container according to  claim 11 , characterized in that two neighboring flanks ( 10 ,  11 ,  12 ) of the lid part ( 4 ) are glued to each other. 
     
     
         13 . A container according to  claim 12 , characterized in that at least one flank ( 10 ,  12 ) of the lid part ( 4 ) has a folding line ( 41 ) along the bisecting line between the connecting edge ( 7 ,  9 ) of the flank ( 10 ,  12 ) to the lid area ( 6 ) and a connecting edge of the flank ( 10 ,  12 ) to the neighboring flank ( 11 ) such that the flank ( 10 ,  12 ) is foldable to a flat position in which it rests on the lid area ( 6 ). 
     
     
         14 . A container according to  claim 13 , characterized in that two flanks ( 10 ,  12 ) of the lid part ( 4 ) opposite to each other are each provided with a folding line ( 41 ) along the bisecting line between the connecting edge ( 7 ,  9 ) of the flank ( 10 ,  11 ) to the lid area ( 6 ) and the connecting edge of the flank ( 10 ,  11 ) to the neighboring flank ( 10 ,  11 ), such that the lid part ( 4 ) is completely foldable into a flat position. 
     
     
         15 . A container according to  claim 14 , characterized in that at least one folding line ( 33 ,  41 ) is formed by a perforation. 
     
     
         16 . A container according to  claim 15 , characterized in that the container ( 2 ) is foldable into a closed position, in which the bottom part ( 5 ) is arranged in box-shaped position and in which the lid part ( 4 ) overlaps the bottom part ( 5 ). 
     
     
         17 . A container according to  claim 16 , characterized in that in a closed position of the container ( 4 ) the flanks ( 10 ,  11 ,  12 ) of the lid part ( 4 ) are arranged approximately plane-parallel to and outside of the lateral wall areas ( 22 ,  23 ,  24 ,  25 ) of the bottom part ( 5 ). 
     
     
         18 . A container according to  claim 17 , characterized in that one lateral wall area ( 25 ) is connected with one edge ( 3 ) to the lid area ( 6 ) and at an opposite edge ( 21 ) to the bottom area ( 17 ). 
     
     
         19 . A container according to  claim 18 , characterized in that at least one flank ( 10 ,  12 ) of the lid part ( 4 ) is provided with a grip recess ( 38 ). 
     
     
         20 . A container according to  claim 19 , characterized in that the grip recess ( 38 ) is provided at the end of one flank ( 10 ,  12 ) which is adjacent to the edge ( 3 ) connecting lid part ( 4 ) and bottom part ( 5 ). 
     
     
         21 . A container according to  claim 20 , characterized in that the grip recess ( 38 ) is formed by a rounding ( 35 ) of one corner of a flank ( 10 ,  12 ). 
     
     
         22 . A container according to  claim 21 , characterized in that at least one lateral wall ( 23 ) of the bottom part ( 5 ) comprises a closing lug ( 39 ), which is insertable into a closing opening or closing pocket ( 40 ) at the lid part ( 4 ) in closed position of the container ( 2 ). 
     
     
         23 . A container according to  claim 22 , characterized in that the container ( 2 ) is formed of a one-part blank ( 1 ). 
     
     
         24 . A container according to  claim 23 , characterized in that the container ( 2 ) is formed of a symmetric blank ( 1 ). 
     
     
         25 . A container according to  claim 24 , characterized in that the container ( 2 ) is formed of plastic material or of a cellulose material, in particular paper or cardboard.
