Claims
Abstract
A hospital bedside table cover is provided for a hospital bedside table and includes a top portion which is positioned on the table top of the table and which has a skirt portion extending downwardly from the edges of the top portion. A plurality of pockets of various sizes are provided on the downwardly extending skirt portion and are adapted to receive various personal items or articles. Some of the pockets have pockets secured to the outer side thereof. Some of the pockets are expandable.

a hospital bedside table including a wheeled base, a pedestal having upper and lower ends, said pedestal being secured at its lower end to said wheeled base and extending upwardly therefrom, and a rectangular table top mounted on said upper end of said pedestal, said table top having first and second side edges and first and second end edges; a flexible cover including a top portion complementary in size and shape to said table top adapted to be placed upon said table top, and a skirt portion extending downwardly from said top portion including first and second side skirt portions and first and second end skirt portions; said first and second side skirt portions extending downwardly from said top portion adjacent said first and second side edge portions of said table top; said first and second end skirt portions extending downwardly from said top portion adjacent said first and second end edges of said table top; said skirt portions having inner and outer sides; at least some of said skirt portions having a plurality of article receiving pockets secured thereto which are positioned at said outer sides thereof.
2 . The combination of claim 1 wherein said pockets have different heights and different widths to accommodate articles having different dimensions.
3 . The combination of claim 1 wherein said pockets have outside surfaces and wherein at least some of said pockets have pockets secured thereto and positioned at said outer surfaces thereof.
4 . The combination of claim 1 wherein said cover is comprised of a washable material.
5 . The combination of claim 1 wherein all of said skirt portions have a plurality of article receiving pockets positioned at said outer sides thereof.
6 . The combination of claim 1 wherein at least some of said pockets are expandable.
7 . The combination of claim 5 wherein at least some of said pockets are expandable.
8 . The combination of claim 1 wherein said pockets are secured to said skirt portions by stitching.
9 . The combination of claim 5 wherein said pockets are secured to said skirt portions by stitching.
10 . The combination of claim 3 wherein said pockets are secured to said pockets by stitching.
11 . The combination of claim 1 wherein said cover is comprised of a quilted material.
12 . In combination with a hospital bedside table including a wheeled base, a pedestal having upper and lower ends, the pedestal being secured at its lower end to the wheeled base and extending upwardly therefrom, and a rectangular table top mounted on said upper end of said pedestal, the table top having first and second side edges and first and second end edges, comprising;
a flexible cover including a top portion complementary in size and shape to the table top adapted to be placed upon the table top, and a skirt portion extending downwardly from the top portion including first and second side skirt portions and first and second end skirt portions; said first and second side skirt portions extending downwardly from the top portion adjacent the first and second side edge portions of the table top; said first and second end skirt portions extending downwardly from the top portion adjacent the first and second end edges of the table top; said skirt portions having inner and outer sides; at least some of said skirt portions having a plurality of article receiving pockets secured thereto which are positioned at said outer sides thereof.
13 . The combination of claim 12 wherein said pockets have different heights and different widths to accommodate articles having different dimensions.
14 . The combination of claim 12 wherein said pockets have outside surfaces and wherein at least some of said pockets have pockets secured thereto which are positioned at said outer surfaces thereof.
15 . The combination of claim 12 wherein said cover is comprised of a washable material.
16 . The combination of claim 12 wherein all of said skirt portions have a plurality of article receiving pockets secured thereto which are positioned at said outer sides thereof.
17 . The combination of claim 12 wherein at least some of said pockets are expandable.
18 . The combination of claim 16 wherein at least some of said pockets are expandable.
19 . The combination of claim 12 wherein said pockets are secured to said skirt portions by stitching.
20 . The combination of claim 16 wherein said pockets are secured to said skirt portions by stitching.
21 . The combination of claim 14 wherein said pockets are secured to said pockets by stitching.
