Abstract
Methods of tracking points among participants in various wagers. An indication of a wager may be received, including point distributions, participants, an event, etc. An indication of an outcome of the wager may be received. Points may be allocated among participants in accordance with a desired point distribution based on the outcome of the wager. An indication of a point adjustment may be received, and points may be adjusted accordingly. The point adjustment may be associated with an external exchange between participants in a wager. Other embodiments are disclosed.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A machine-implemented method comprising:
receiving a request to convert a first amount of first wagerable points associated with a first set of users to one or more second wagerable points associated with a second set of users; based on an exchange rate between the first wagerable points and the second wagerable points, determining a second amount of second wagerable points to which the first amount of first wagerable points may be converted; adjusting a first balance of the first wagerable points by the first amount; and adjusting a second balance of the second wagerable points by the second amount.
2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising verifying a desire for the conversion with at least a portion of the second set of users before adjusting the first and second balances.
3 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising determining the exchange rate.
4 . The method of claim 3 , wherein determining the exchange rate includes determining the exchange rate based on information about at least one prior conversions of first points into second points.
5 . The method of claim 3 , wherein determining the exchange rate includes determining the exchange rate based on prior activity related to at least one of the first points and the second points.
6 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the prior activity includes at least one adjustment of first points based on a first external event and at least one adjustment of second points based on a second external event.
7 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising charging a fee to a user associated with the first amount of first points.
8 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising providing information about the exchange rate through a trading interface to a user associated with the first amount of first points.
9 . A machine-implemented method comprising:
receiving an indication of a desired adjustment of first wagerable points and second wagerable points; providing information about the desired adjustment to at least one potential conversion partner; receiving an indication of acceptance of the adjustment from the at least one potential conversion partners; and in response to the acceptance, facilitating the adjustment of a first amount of the first wagerable points and a second amount of the second wagerable points.
10 . The method of claim 9 , wherein receiving the indication of the desired adjustment includes receiving information about a desired exchange rate.
11 . The method of claim 9 , wherein providing information comprises including a representation of the desired adjustment in a listing of desired conversions.
12 . The method of claim 9 , wherein receiving the indication of acceptance includes receiving an indication of a desired trade accepting one or more terms of the desired conversion.
13 . The method of claim 9 , wherein receiving the indication of acceptance includes receiving an indication of a desired trade comprising at least one of a different term and an additional term than the desired conversion.
14 . The method of claim 9 , wherein facilitating includes executing a trade of first wagerable points for second wagerable points.
15 . The method of claim 9 , wherein facilitating includes beginning a negotiation between a first user associated with the first amount of first points and the at least one user.
16 . The method of claim 9 , further comprising verifying an acceptance of the adjustment with at least a portion of a set of users associated with the second points before facilitating the adjustment.
17 . A machine-implemented method comprising:
receiving an indication of a desired conversation of first wagerable points to second wagerable points; and facilitating the conversion of a first amount of first wagerable points into a second amount of second wagerable points based on an exchange rate between the first wagerable points and the second wagerable points.
18 . The method of claim 17 , wherein facilitating includes at least one of trading and exchanging points.
19 . The method of claim 17 , wherein facilitating includes listing information on a point exchange system.
20 . The method of claim 17 , wherein facilitating includes performing the conversion through a market maker.
21 . The method of claim 17 , wherein facilitating includes matching the desired conversion with a second desired conversion that was previously identified.
22 . The method of claim 17 , further comprising verifying an acceptance of the conversion with at least a portion of a set of users associated with the second points before facilitating the conversion.
23 . The method of claim 17 , further comprising collecting a fee associated with the conversion.
24 . The method of claim 23 , wherein the fee includes at least one of an amount of money and an amount of points.
