Abstract
A fast braking device for a grinding machine installed in a grinding machine with a spindle comprises: an electromagnet element closely neighbors an inner braking disc; the electromagnet element and the inner braking disc are jointly fixed on the grinding machine. An outer braking disc is separated from the electromagnet element by a lining plate and axially slidably installed on the electromagnet element. Elastic elements are arranged in between the inner braking disc and the outer braking disc. The lining plate rotates synchronously with the spindle. When the user intends to stop the operation of the grinding machine, the electromagnet element provides magnetic force to make the inner and the outer braking discs clamp the lining plate to fast brake the spindle of the grinding machine. Then, the elastic elements separate the outer braking disc from the inner braking disc, and the spindle of the grinding machine can rotate again.

an electromagnet element fixed on said grinding machine; an inner braking disc closely neighboring said electromagnet element and fixed on said electromagnet element; a lining plate arranged outside said inner braking disc and rotating synchronously with said spindle; an outer braking disc separated from said electromagnet element by said lining plate, axially slidably installed on said electromagnet element, attracted by magnetic force of said electromagnet element to approach said inner braking disc, and cooperating with said inner braking disc to clamp two sides of said lining plate; and a plurality of elastic elements arranged in between said inner braking disc and said outer braking disc, separating said outer braking disc from said inner braking disc, preventing said outer braking disc and said inner braking disc from clamping said lining plate, and having an elastic force less than said magnetic force of said electromagnet element.

The fast braking device for the grinding machine according to claim 1 , wherein said lining plate has a rectangular central infix hole, and said spindle has a rectangular infix block corresponding to said rectangular central infix hole, and said infix block is infixed into said central infix hole.
3 . The fast braking device for the grinding machine according to claim 1 , wherein said elastic elements are uniformly arranged along the rims of said inner braking disc and said outer braking disc.
4 . The fast braking device for the grinding machine according to claim 1 , wherein said inner braking disc, said outer braking disc and said electromagnet element respectively have central through-holes, and said spindle passes through said central through-holes.
5 . The fast braking device for the grinding machine according to claim 1 , wherein said inner braking disc is fastened to said electromagnet element with hollow screws.
