Pants

Abstract

Pants include a main pant body configured in the crotch area and inner leg areas with edges spaced apart to form an opening extending downwardly towards each ankle of a person; and an inner pant body, disposed in the opening, and affixed to the main pant body. The main pant body can be formed, at least in part, of an abrasion resistant material that protects the person from abrasive injuries. The inner pant body is formed, at least in part, of an elastic material that provides the person with greater flexibility while wearing the protective long pants.

1 . Protective long pants, comprising:
 a main pant body to be worn about the buttocks, hips, and outer legs of a person, and configured in the crotch area and inner leg areas with edges spaced apart to form an opening extending downwardly toward each ankle of the person; and   an inner pant body, disposed in the opening, and affixed to the main pant body;   wherein said main pant body is formed, at least in part, of an abrasion resistant material that protects the person from abrasive injuries, and said inner pant body is formed, at least in part, of an elastic material that provides the person with greater flexibility while wearing said protective long pants.   
   
   
       2 . The protective long pants of  claim 1 , wherein the abrasion resistant material includes denim. 
   
   
       3 . The protective long pants of  claim 2 , wherein the abrasion resistant material includes a fourteen-ounce denim. 
   
   
       4 . The protective long pants of  claim 1 , wherein the abrasion resistant material includes an abrasion resistant layer. 
   
   
       5 . The protective long pants of  claim 1 , wherein the elastic material includes a woven material. 
   
   
       6 . The protective long pants of  claim 1 , wherein a portion of the abrasion resistant material includes SPANDEX. 
   
   
       7 . The protective long pants of  claim 1 , wherein the opening is continuous.
