Abstract
A method for communication for communication is disclosed and may include, in a mobile terminal operable to receive a cellular frequency band service and a UHF broadcast frequency band service from a service provider providing the cellular frequency band service and the UHF broadcast frequency band service, requesting delivery of media associated with a specified information content service provided via one or both of the cellular frequency band service and/or the UHF broadcast frequency band service. The requested media may be received via one or both of the cellular frequency band service and/or the UHF broadcast frequency band service. The requested media may be received based on information transmitted from the mobile terminal. A particular quality of service (QoS) may be specified for the requested media, in the information transmitted from the mobile terminal.

in a mobile terminal operable to receive a cellular frequency band service and a UHF broadcast frequency band service from a service provider providing said cellular frequency band service and said UHF broadcast frequency band service:
requesting delivery of media associated with a specified information content service provided via one or both of said cellular frequency band service and/or said UHF broadcast frequency band service; and
receiving said requested media via one or both of said cellular frequency band service and/or said UHF broadcast frequency band service.
38 . The method according to claim 37 , comprising receiving said requested media via one or both of said cellular frequency band service and/or said UHF broadcast frequency band service based on information transmitted from said mobile terminal.
39 . The method according to claim 38 , comprising specifying a particular quality of service (QoS), for said requested media, in said information transmitted from said mobile terminal.
40 . The method according to claim 37 , wherein said received requested media comprises Internet information.
41 . The method according to claim 37 , wherein said received requested media comprises broadcast video.
42 . The method according to claim 37 , wherein said received requested media comprises broadcast audio.
43 . The method according to claim 37 , comprising displaying in said mobile terminal, a user interface comprising one or both of description of said requested media and/or a quality of service associated with said requested media.
44 . The method according to claim 37 , comprising receiving in said mobile terminal, an input indicating at least one required quality of service associated with said requested media.
45 . The method according to claim 37 , comprising determining based on information stored in said mobile terminal, at least one required quality of service associated with said requested media.
46 . The method according to claim 45 , wherein said at least one required quality of service associated with said requested media is stored in a profile within said mobile terminal.
47 . The method according to claim 37 , comprising receiving said requested media from a wireless service provider providing said cellular frequency band service.
48 . The method according to claim 37 , comprising receiving said requested media from a UHF broadcast service provider providing said broadcast frequency band service.

The method according to claim 37 , comprising receiving, in said mobile terminal, said cellular frequency band service provided via one or more of global system for mobile communications (GSM), general packet radio service (GPRS), enhanced data rates for GSM evolution (EDGE), code division multiple access 2000 (CDMA2000), wideband CDMA (WCDMA), high speed downlink packet access (HSDPA) systems, and/or multiple broadcast/multicast service (MBMS).
50 . The method according to claim 37 , comprising receiving, in said mobile terminal, said UHF broadcast frequency band service provided via one or more of digital video broadcast (DVB), advanced standards technical committee (ATSC), and/or integrated service digital broadcasting (ISDB).
51 . The method according to claim 37 , comprising communicating RF channel condition from said mobile terminal to a service provider providing said cellular frequency band service and said UHF broadcast frequency band service.
52 . A machine-readable storage having stored thereon, a computer program having at least one code section for communication, the at least one code section being executable by a machine for causing the machine to perform steps comprising:
in a mobile terminal operable to receive a cellular frequency band service and a UHF broadcast frequency band service from a service provider providing said cellular frequency band service and said UHF broadcast frequency band service:
requesting delivery of media associated with a specified information content service provided via one or both of said cellular frequency band service and/or said UHF broadcast frequency band service; and
receiving said requested media via one or both of said cellular frequency band service and/or said UHF broadcast frequency band service.
53 . The machine-readable storage according to claim 52 , comprising code for receiving said requested media via one or both of said cellular frequency band service and/or said UHF broadcast frequency band service based on information transmitted from said mobile terminal.
54 . The machine-readable storage according to claim 53 , comprising code for specifying a particular quality of service (QoS), for said requested media, in said information transmitted from said mobile terminal.
55 . The machine-readable storage according to claim 52 , wherein said received requested media comprises Internet information.
56 . The machine-readable storage according to claim 52 , wherein said received requested media comprises broadcast video.
57 . The machine-readable storage according to claim 52 , wherein said received requested media comprises broadcast audio.
58 . The machine-readable storage according to claim 52 , comprising code for displaying in said mobile terminal, a user interface comprising one or both of description of said requested media and/or a quality of service associated with said requested media.
59 . The machine-readable storage according to claim 52 , comprising code for receiving in said mobile terminal, an input indicating at least one required quality of service associated with said requested media.
60 . The machine-readable storage according to claim 52 , comprising code for determining based on information stored in said mobile terminal, at least one required quality of service associated with said requested media.
61 . The machine-readable storage according to claim 60 , wherein said at least one required quality of service associated with said requested media is stored in a profile within said mobile terminal.
62 . The machine-readable storage according to claim 52 , comprising code for receiving said requested media from a wireless service provider providing said cellular frequency band service.
63 . The machine-readable storage according to claim 52 , comprising code for receiving said requested media from a UHF broadcast service provider providing said broadcast frequency band service.

The machine-readable storage according to claim 52 , comprising code for receiving, in said mobile terminal, said cellular frequency band service provided via one or more of global system for mobile communications (GSM), general packet radio service (GPRS), enhanced data rates for GSM evolution (EDGE), code division multiple access 2000 (CDMA2000), wideband CDMA (WCDMA), high speed downlink packet access (HSDPA) systems, and/or multiple broadcast/multicast service (MBMS).

The machine-readable storage according to claim 52 , comprising code for receiving, in said mobile terminal, said UHF broadcast frequency band service provided via one or more of digital video broadcast (DVB), advanced standards technical committee (ATSC), and/or integrated service digital broadcasting (ISDB).
66 . The machine-readable storage according to claim 52 , comprising code for communicating RF channel condition from said mobile terminal to a service provider providing said cellular frequency band service and said UHF broadcast frequency band service.
67 . A system for communication, the system comprising:
one or more circuits for use in a mobile terminal, said mobile terminal operable to receive a cellular frequency band service and a UHF broadcast frequency band service from a service provider providing said cellular frequency band service and said UHF broadcast frequency band service, wherein said one or more circuits are operable to:
request delivery of media associated with a specified information content service provided via one or both of said cellular frequency band service and/or said UHF broadcast frequency band service; and
receive said requested media via one or both of said cellular frequency band service and/or said UHF broadcast frequency band service.
68 . The system according to claim 67 , wherein said one or more circuits are operable to receive said requested media via one or both of said cellular frequency band service and/or said UHF broadcast frequency band service based on information transmitted from said mobile terminal.
69 . The system according to claim 68 , wherein said one or more circuits are operable to specify a particular quality of service (QoS), for said requested media, in said information transmitted from said mobile terminal.
70 . The system according to claim 67 , wherein said received requested media comprises Internet information.
71 . The system according to claim 67 , wherein said received requested media comprises broadcast video.
72 . The system according to claim 67 , wherein said received requested media comprises broadcast audio.
73 . The system according to claim 67 , wherein said one or more circuits are operable to display in said mobile terminal, a user interface comprising one or both of description of said requested media and/or a quality of service associated with said requested media.
74 . The system according to claim 67 , wherein said one or more circuits are operable to receive in said mobile terminal, an input indicating at least one required quality of service associated with said requested media.
75 . The system according to claim 67 , wherein said one or more circuits are operable to determine based on information stored in said mobile terminal, at least one required quality of service associated with said requested media.
76 . The system according to claim 75 , wherein said at least one required quality of service associated with said requested media is stored in a profile within said mobile terminal.
77 . The system according to claim 67 , wherein said one or more circuits are operable to receive said requested media from a wireless service provider providing said cellular frequency band service.
78 . The system according to claim 67 , wherein said one or more circuits are operable to receive said requested media from a UHF broadcast service provider providing said broadcast frequency band service.

The system according to claim 67 , wherein said one or more circuits are operable to receive, in said mobile terminal, said cellular frequency band service provided via one or more of global system for mobile communications (GSM), general packet radio service (GPRS), enhanced data rates for GSM evolution (EDGE), code division multiple access 2000 (CDMA2000), wideband CDMA (WCDMA), high speed downlink packet access (HSDPA) systems, and/or multiple broadcast/multicast service (MBMS).

The system according to claim 67 , wherein said one or more circuits are operable to receive, in said mobile terminal, said UHF broadcast frequency band service provided via one or more of digital video broadcast (DVB), advanced standards technical committee (ATSC), and/or integrated service digital broadcasting (ISDB).
81 . The system according to claim 67 , wherein said one or more circuits are operable to communicate RF channel condition from said mobile terminal to a service provider providing said cellular frequency band service and said UHF broadcast frequency band service.
82 . A method for communication, the method comprising:
in a mobile terminal operable to receive a cellular signal and a UHF broadcast signal from a service provider:
requesting delivery of media associated with a specified information content service; and
receiving said requested media via one or both of said cellular signal and said UHF broadcast signal.
83 . The method according to claim 82 , comprising receiving said requested media via one or both of said cellular signal and/or said UHF broadcast signal based on information transmitted from said mobile terminal.
84 . The method according to claim 83 , comprising specifying a particular QoS, for said requested media, in said information transmitted from said mobile terminal.
85 . The method according to claim 82 , wherein said received requested media comprises Internet information.
86 . The method according to claim 82 , wherein said received requested media comprises broadcast video.
87 . The method according to claim 82 , wherein said received requested media comprises broadcast audio.
88 . The method according to claim 82 , comprising displaying in said mobile terminal, a user interface comprising one or both of description of said requested media and/or a quality of service associated with said requested media.
89 . The method according to claim 82 , comprising receiving in said mobile terminal, an input indicating at least one required quality of service associated with said requested media.
90 . The method according to claim 82 , comprising determining based on information stored in said mobile terminal, at least one required quality of service associated with said requested media.

95 . The method according to claim 82 , comprising receiving, in said mobile terminal, said UHF broadcast frequency band service provided via one or more of digital video broadcast (DVB), advanced standards technical committee (ATSC), and/or integrated service digital broadcasting (ISDB).
96 . The method according to claim 82 , comprising communicating RF channel condition from said mobile terminal to a service provider providing said cellular frequency band service and said UHF broadcast frequency band service.
