Exercise device for shoes

Abstract

A method for increasing an exertion associated with a stride of a person is provided. The method including; providing a platform operatively engaged with a surface of a footwear worn by the person and upon which is exerted a weight of the person; and storing a potential energy of the person upon exertion of the weight on the platform.

1 . A footwear for a user comprising:
 a body having a surface for placing of a foot;   a platform operatively engaged with the surface and upon which is exerted a weight of the user; and   potential energy storage means operatively connected to the platform for storing a potential energy of the user upon exertion of the weight on the platform.   
   
   
       2 . The footwear of  claim 1 , further comprising a lower plate arranged beneath the potential energy storage means in the direction of the ground. 
   
   
       3 . An insert for a footwear, the insert comprising:
 a platform upon which is exerted a weight of a user;   a lower plate; and   potential energy storage means operatively connected to the platform and lower plate for storing a potential energy of the user upon exertion of the weight on the platform.   
   
   
       4 . A method for increasing an exertion associated with a stride of a person, the method comprising;
 providing a platform operatively engaged with a surface of a footwear worn by the person and upon which is exerted a weight of the person; and   storing a potential energy of the person upon exertion of the weight on the platform.   
   
   
       5 . The method of  claim 4 , further comprising releasing the stored potential energy such that it is not transferred back to the stride of the person. 
   
   
       6 . The method of  claim 4 , further comprising converting the potential energy to heat. 
   
   
       7 . The method of  claim 4 , further comprising converting the potential energy to electrical power.
