Gaming machine, gaming machine control method, and playing method
Abstract
A gaming machine is provided, which includes a display and a controller. The controller is configured with logic to: (a) distribute an initial set of cards; (b) exchange one or more cards with different cards; (c) execute a win game in which a player wins an award when a final set of cards includes a first combination; (d) execute a high-probability win game in a subsequent game when the final set of cards includes a second combination; (e) execute a special game for determining a game condition for the high-probability win game; (f) determine sets of cards initially distributed to the player in the high-probability win game in accordance with the game condition; and (g) continue the high-probability win game until a set of cards includes a combination entitled to a win. The display displays an image related to the win game and the high-probability win game.
Claims

2 . The gaming machine according to claim 1 , further comprising a select switch that allows the player to select a set of cards to be used for the high-probability win game among the distributed sets of cards.
3 . The gaming machine according to claim 1 , wherein the controller is further configured with logic to (h) provide an award in accordance with a number of sets of cards that has been used in the high-probability win game until the set of cards includes the combination entitled to the win.
4 . A gaming machine comprising:
a display; a select switch; and a controller configured with logic to: (a) distribute an initial set of cards to a player; (b) exchange one or more cards among the initial set of cards with different cards in accordance with selection by the player; (c) execute a win game in which the player wins a predetermined award when a final set of cards includes a first predetermined card combination; (d) execute a high-probability win game in a subsequent game when the final set of cards includes a second predetermined card combination; (e) execute a special game for determining a game condition for the high-probability win game prior to a start thereof; (f) determine a plurality of sets of cards initially distributed to the player in the high-probability win game in accordance with the game condition; and (g) continue the high-probability win game until a set of cards includes a card combination entitled to a win, wherein the controller causes the display to display an image related to proceedings of the win game and the high-probability win game, and wherein the select switch allows the player to select a set of cards to be used for the high-probability win game among the distributed sets of cards.
5 . The gaming machine according to claim 4 , wherein the controller is further configured with logic to (h) provide an award in accordance with a number of sets of cards that has been used in the high-probability win game until the set of cards includes the combination entitled to the win.
6 . A gaming machine comprising:
a display; a select switch; and a controller configured with logic to: (a) distribute an initial set of cards to a player; (b) exchange one or more cards among the initial set of cards with different cards in accordance with selection by the player; (c) execute a win game in which the player wins a predetermined award when a final set of cards includes a first predetermined card combination; (d) execute a high-probability win game in a subsequent game when the final set of cards includes a second predetermined card combination; (e) execute a special game for determining a game condition for the high-probability win game prior to a start thereof; (f) determine a plurality of sets of cards initially distributed to the player in the high-probability win game in accordance with the game condition; (g) continue the high-probability win game until a set of cards includes a card combination entitled to a win; and (h) provide an award in accordance with a number of sets of cards that has been used in the high-probability win game until the set of cards includes the combination entitled to the win, wherein the controller causes the display to display an image related to proceedings of the win game and the high-probability win game, and wherein the select switch allows the player to select a set of cards to be used for the high-probability win game among the distributed sets of cards.
7 . A method for controlling a gaming machine with a display, the method comprising the steps of:
(a) distributing an initial set of cards to a player; (b) exchanging one or more cards among the initial set of cards with different cards in accordance with selection by the player; (c) executing a win game in which the player wins a predetermined award when a final set of cards includes a first predetermined card combination; (d) executing a high-probability win game in a subsequent game when the final set of cards includes a second predetermined card combination; (e) executing a special game for determining a game condition for the high-probability win game prior to a start thereof; (f) determining a plurality of sets of cards initially distributed to the player in the high-probability win game in accordance with the game condition; (g) continuing the high-probability win game until a set of cards includes a card combination entitled to a win; and (h) controlling the display to display an image related to proceedings of the win game and the high-probability win game.
8 . The method according to claim 7 , wherein the gaming machine includes a select switch, the method further comprising the step of: (i) allowing the player to select through the select switch a set of cards to be used for the high-probability win game among the distributed sets of cards.
9 . The method according to claim 7 , further comprising the step of: (j) providing an award in accordance with a number of sets of cards that has been used in the step (g).
