Abstract
A system and method for stereoscopically imaging a patient at multiple locations with a radiation treatment system using a common imaging center.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An imaging system, comprising:
a pair of x-ray sources; and a pair of x-ray detectors to detect an x-ray beam from a corresponding one of the pair of x-ray sources, wherein at least one of the pair of x-rays sources and a corresponding one of the pair of x-ray detectors are each linearly movable from a first position to a second position to generate x-rays beams that intersect at a same imaging center when generated by the pair of x-ray sources at both the first and second positions.
2 . An imaging method, comprising:
directing an x-ray beam from an x-ray source at a first position to intersect an imaging center; linearly moving the x-ray source to a second position; and directing another x-ray beam from the x-ray source at a the second position to intersect with the same imaging center.
3 . The imaging method of claim 2 , further comprising:
detecting the x-ray beam from the x-ray source at the first position with an x-ray detector; and linearly moving the x-ray detector to another position to detect the other x-ray beam from the x-ray source at the second position.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
