Abstract
An active matrix liquid crystal display device includes a plurality of gate signal lines and a plurality of drain signal lines formed on a substrate. The gate signal lines extend in parallel to one another, and the drain signal lines extend in parallel to one another, and a dummy line is formed between each of adjacent parallel extending drain signal lines.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An active matrix liquid crystal display device comprising:
a plurality of gate signal lines and a plurality of drain signal lines formed on a substrate; wherein the gate signal lines extend in parallel to one another, and the drain signal lines extend in parallel to one another; and wherein a dummy line is formed between each of adjacent parallel extending drain signal lines.
2 . An active matrix liquid crystal display device according to claim 1 , wherein the drain signal lines have a terminal portion for connection to an outside circuit at the periphery of the substrate; and
the dummy line is formed proximate to the terminal portion.
3 . An active matrix liquid crystal display device according to claim 1 , wherein the dummy line between the adjacent drain signal lines has a linear shape extending parallel to the drain signal lines.
4 . An active matrix liquid crystal display device according to claim 1 , wherein the dummy line between the adjacent drain signal lines has a dotted line shape extending parallel to the drain signal lines.
5 . An active matrix liquid crystal display device according to claim 1 , wherein the substrate has a rectangular seal material, and the terminal portions are formed on the outside of the seal material.
6 . An active matrix liquid crystal display device according to claim 5 , wherein a first insulation film is formed on the outside of the seal material, and a second insulation film is formed on the inside of the seal material.
7 . An active matrix liquid crystal display device according to claim 6 , wherein the first insulation film is formed of an inorganic material layer and the second insulation film is formed of an organic material layer.
8 . An active matrix liquid crystal display device according to claim 7 , wherein in the terminal portion, portions of the drain signal lines which are formed below the first insulation film are exposed via through holes formed in the first insulation film, and an oxide conductive film is formed so as to cover at least exposed portions.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
