multi-function tool box with side doors

Abstract

This utility model relates to a type of multi-function tool box with side doors, consisting of a base with foot wheels, head plate, left and right side boards, box body formed by a group of drawers, and handle. Drawers in the box slightly draw back at left and right sides. At rear of the box, fixed left and right side boards are provided. In available space formed between fixed external side boards and left/right drawn back drawer side plates, parts container is provided. At left and right side of drawers in front of this available space, left and right side doors that can be opened and function as part of left/right side board and part of front board of the box. On internal walls of these side doors, tool hanging plates with holes are provided. When these side doors move outward, the tool box is open; when they are withdrawn, an enclosed box is formed. Compared with traditional tool box, space availability is apparently high, quantity of tools and spares that can be stored in this box is large, types of such tools and spares are complete, and taking of these tools and spares is convenient, greatly facilitating site maintenance and service, and providing very strong practicality.

1 . A type of multi-function tool box with side doors, consisting of box body ( 1 ) and handle ( 2 ), said box body ( 1 ) comprising base ( 4 ) with foot wheels ( 3 ), head plate ( 5 ), left/right side board ( 6 ), and a group of drawers ( 7 ); characterized by:
 a. said drawers ( 7 ) provided in middle part of box body ( 1 ) and drawn back at left and right side;   b. said left/right side board ( 6 ) comprising fixed external side boards ( 8 ) provided at rear outer side of box body ( 1 ) and main plane ( 10 ) of left and right side doors ( 9 ) functioning as remaining part of left and right side board; a lateral plate connected to hinge is provided on front edge of fixed external side board ( 8 );   c. main body of left and right side doors ( 9 ) (that can be opened) having “L” shape and comprising main plane ( 10 ) that can function as remaining part of said left and right side board on box and auxiliary plane ( 11 ) that can function as part of front board where drawer is drawn back at left and right side; on edge of main plane ( 10 ), another lateral plate connected to hinge is provided; tools hanging plate ( 12 ) with holes is provided at internal side face; and on edge of auxiliary plane ( 11 ), buckle ( 15 ) is provided;   d. in the available space ( 16 ) formed between fixed external side board ( 8 ) and left/right side plate ( 13 ) of drawn back drawer ( 7 ), a row of parts storage containers ( 17 ) are provided as required;   e. retractable position-limiting connecting rod ( 18 ) is provided near upper edge of main plane ( 10 ) on said left/right side door ( 9 ) and on connection between drawer left/right side plate ( 13 ) and head plate ( 5 ) upper part.   
   
   
       2 . The multi-function tool box with side doors of  claim 1 , characterized by said parts storage container ( 17 ) being open backup box or non-open type small backup drawer.
