Abstract

A multifunction racket in which the head frame has multiple elongated slots and ribs positioned in each elongated slot such that the user can selectively insert shock absorbing members of different weights and shock absorbing characteristics into the elongated slots of the head frame to adjust the location of the gravity center and shock absorbing characteristic of the racket.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . (canceled)

2 . The multifunction racket as claimed in claim 7 , further comprising at least one shock absorbing member received in said at least one elongated slot of said head frame.

3 . The multifunction racket as claimed in claim 2 , wherein at least one first notch for receiving the at least one rib of said head frame is located on a bottom edge of said at least one shock absorbing member.

4 . The multifunction racket as claimed in claim 3 , wherein said head frame is provided with a plurality of string holes which extend between said outer periphery and said inner periphery through which a string passes and said at least one shock absorbing member has at least one second notch on said bottom edge through which said string passes.

5 . The multifunction racket as claimed in claim 2 , wherein said at least one shock absorbing member comprises a head on an upper edge thereof engaged against one of the sides of said head frame, and a body extending from said head and positioned in said elongated slot of said head frame.

6 . The multifunction racket as claimed in claim 2 , which comprises two said shock absorbing members respectively inserted into said elongated slot from each of the sides of said head frame, wherein each of the shock absorbing members has a distal end which are bonded together within the elongated slot.

       7 . A multifunction racket, comprising:
a head frame having an outer periphery and an inner periphery and two sides parallel to the plane P of the head frame which respectively extend between opposite edges of the outer periphery and the inner periphery; wherein at least one elongated slot extends through and between said sides and at least one rib is fixed within and between opposite longitudinal sides of said at least one elongated slot.
