Abstract
The present invention discloses a nano-cluster that includes a plurality of nano-particles, wherein the nano-particles can disperse in response to an environmental cue. Also disclosed is a method of preventing, treating, or diagnosing a disease or condition in a subject comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of a composition comprising nano-clusters of the present invention.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 88 . (canceled)
89 . A method of preparing a nano-cluster in a solution comprising:
(i) obtaining at least a first and second nano-particle; and (ii) admixing the first and second nano-particles, wherein the first and second nano-particles assemble in a solution to form the nano-cluster.
90 . The method of claim 108 , wherein spray and freeze drying techniques are not used to prepare the nano-cluster.
91 . The method of claim 108 , wherein the first and second nano-particles are hydrophobic, hydrophilic, or a mixture thereof.
92 . The method of claim 108 , wherein the first nano-particle is positively charged and the second nano-particle is negatively charged.
93 . The method of claim 108 , further comprising obtaining a dispersion material and admixing the dispersion material with the first and second nano-particles.
94 . The method of claim 108 , wherein obtaining the first and second nano-particles comprises:
(i) obtaining an aqueous suspension of the first and second nano-particles; (ii) emulsifying the suspension into a non-aqueous phase; (iii) allowing water in the aqueous suspension to absorb into the non-aqueous phase; (iv) allowing the first and second nano-particles to aggregate together; and (v) retrieving the aggregated nano particles.
95 . The method of claim 108 , wherein obtaining the first and second nano-particles comprises:
(i) obtaining a non-aqueous suspension of the first and second nano-particles; (ii) emulsifying the suspension into an aqueous phase; (iii) allowing liquid in the non-aqueous suspension to absorb into the aqueous phase; (iv) allowing the first and second nano-particles to aggregate together; and (v) retrieving the aggregated nano particles.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
