Abstract

A card game is provided with play cards containing indicia symbolic of nine different known human sexual orientations. A preferred embodiment includes a plurality of change cards to be applied in conjunction with the play cards. An ideal card set includes a total of 67 cards that includes 61 play cards and 6 chance cards. The game is played by drawing from the deck or by picking from another players' play cards with the aim of acquiring winning points by pairing compatible play card. A primary goal of the game is to find a soul mate match. A secondary goal is to collect the most play cards. The card set of the invention lends itself to the playing also traditional card games.

1 . A matching card game comprising set comprising at least eighteen (18) play cards containing indicia symbolic of nine (9) different known human sexual orientations. 
   
   
       2 . The matching card game of  claim 1  comprising a set of at least twenty (20) cards containing indicia symbolic of at least eleven (11) different known sexual orientations, at least one sexual orientation change chance card, and at least one sex change chance card. 
   
   
       3 . The matching card game of  claim 2  including at least two (2) sexual orientation change cards, one (1) sex change card, one (1) soul mate card, one (1) death card, and one (1) time card. 
   
   
       4 . The matching card game set having a plurality of cards of a total number suitable for play by a plurality of players, said set containing:
 a. the play cards that contain the indicia symbolic of nine (9) different human sexual orientations and one wild card; and   b. chance cards including a least one sexual orientation change card, at least one sex change card, at least one soul mate card, at least one death card, and at least one time card.   
   
   
       5 . The matching card game set of  claim 4  comprising cards having 14 different faces including nine having different indicia symbolic of various known human sexual orientations, said set including:
 a. at least 61 play cards containing at least one wild card; and   b. at least five chance cards that include at least one sexual orientation change card and at least one sex change card.   
   
   
       6 . The matching card game set of  claim 5  comprising a set of at least 67 cards with
 a. 61 play cards with one wild card; and   b. at least six chance cards that include at two sexual orientation change cards, one sex change card, one soul mate card, one death card, and one time card.   
   
   
       7 . The card deck of  claim 6  wherein:
 a. 61 play cards of the card deck comprise cards with symbolic indicia representing 9 different human sexual orientations and include:
 i. 16 cards with indicia symbolic of heterosexual males, 16 cards with indicia symbolic of heterosexual females, 8 cards with indicia symbolic of homosexual males, 8 cards with indicia symbolic of homosexual females, 4 cards with indicia symbolic of bisexual males, 4 cards with indicia symbolic of bisexual females, 2 cards with indicia symbolic of celibate males, 2 cards with indicia symbolic of celibate females, and 1 wild card; and 
 ii. 6 chance cards including at least one card symbolic of sexual orientation change and at least one card symbolic of sex change. 
   
   
   
       8 . The card deck of  claim 7  wherein the 6 chance cards of the card deck include 2 sexual orientation change cards and 1 sex change card. 
   
   
       9 . The card deck of  claim 7  imprinted with a single-sided indicia. 
   
   
       10 . The card deck of  claim 7  imprinted with a double-sided indicia. 
   
   
       11 . A method of playing a card game for play by at least two players in which players match cards of the deck of  claim 3  comprising the steps of:
 a. shuffling the card deck;   b. dealing at least five cards of the card deck to the players;   c. placing a remainder of the card deck or decks in a players draw pile; and   d. initiating a suitable order of player moves in rotation wherein the player play cards by adhering to:
 i. matching rules as shown in  FIG. 18 ; 
 ii. sexual-orientation-change rules as shown in  FIG. 19 ; 
 iii. sex-change rules as shown in  FIG. 20 ; 
 iv. wildcard-after-match-sexual-orientation-change rules as shown in  FIG. 21 ; and 
 v. sexual-orientation-change-influence rules as shown in  FIG. 22 . 
   
   
   
       12 . The method of  claim 11  wherein the declared winner of the game is selected from the first player to find a soul mate match and the first player to accumulate the most paired cards.
