Abstract
A method for the pressure regulation in a weaving machine ( 1 ) is presented, in particular in an air jet weaving machine having a pressure regulating system ( 10 ) and a weft insertion system for the insertion of a plurality of different weft threads ( 2, 2 ′). In the weft insertion system a thread store ( 2 a , 2 b , 2 a ′, 2 b ′) and a main nozzle ( 3, 3 ′) is provided for each different weft thread, with the main nozzle drawing off the respective weft thread from the thread store and accelerating it during the insertion. In addition, there is provided in the pressure regulating system, for a group of main nozzles together, a pressure regulator ( 20 ) with a pressure sensor ( 21 ), a multi-way valve ( 22 ) and a regulator ( 23 ) arranged separate from it, with the regulator being connected to the pressure sensor and to the multi-way valve, and the pressure regulator ( 20 ) is coupled for the insertion of a weft thread to the main nozzle ( 3, 3 ′) of the group corresponding to it.
