Abstract
The station comprises a tub suited to be filled with water and shaped to receive a user partially immersed therein, and a gymnastics device comprising a frame receivable within the tub and supporting a seat and a revolving pedal crank that is arranged in front of the seat. The pedal crank is pivotally supported on supports integral with the frame and provided with three hinge seats which are differently spaced from the seat and are selectively engageable by the pedal crank.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 21 . (canceled)
22 . A gymnastic device adapted to be immersed in a tub filled with water, comprising a frame supporting a seat and a revolving pedal crank which is arranged in front of the seat and is mounted on respective supports, wherein said supports each consist of a metal rod that is multiply bent to form at least two hinge seats which are differently spaced from the seat and are selectively engageable by the pedal crank.
23 . The device of claim 22 , wherein said pedal crank is provided with hinge pins each having a roller mounted thereon which is journaled to a respective hinge seat.
24 . The device of claim 22 , wherein said pedal crank consists of a metal rod which is multiply bent at right angles and has diametrically opposite portions parallel to the axis of rotation and engageable by the feet of a user.
25 . The device of claim 22 , wherein said frame comprises two lateral mounting rods joined by a transverse rod, each of said mounting rods having a respective one of said supports connected thereto.
26 . The device of claim 25 , wherein said lateral rods are downwardly arched.
27 . The device of claim 22 , wherein said seat consists of a perforated metal plate that is bent to form a seat base with a seat back.
28 . The device of claim 22 , further comprising a tub fillable with water and having a bottom wall adapted to support said device.
29 . The device of claim 28 , also comprising at least one retaining member arranged in front of the seat at a stationary position with respect to the tub, and engaegable by an elastic belt provided with a pair of handles fastened to its ends, by which the belt can be pulled by a user sitting on seat.
30 . The device of claim 29 , comprising two of said retaining members supported at equal heights and both engaged by said elastic belt.
31 . The device of claim 30 , wherein each of said retaining members comprises a vertical pin welded to the wall of the tub with a pulley journaled thereto and engaged by said elastic belt.
32 . The device of claim 28 , wherein said tub has two side walls having a semicircular profile and joined along their round edges by said bottom wall, said bottom wall having a correspondingly bent profile.
33 . The device of claim 28 , wherein said tub has a plurality of bulges projecting inwardly at different heights, on which the frame can be selectively laid at a desired position.
34 . The device of claim 28 , wherein said tub has a draining hole at its lowermost section, with a overflow pipe rising therefrom and terminating at a predetermined height defining the maximum water level for the tub.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
