Reverse balloon
Abstract
A rapidly deployable camouflage device for concealing recognizable signatures of military objects, comprising a camouflage balloon and a deployment and undeployment device, the latter being equipped with a housing and a fan for inflating the balloon arranged on an opening in the housing. According to the invention, the balloon can be pulled into the housing by means of pull lines secured at one end to the inside of the balloon opposite the opening, and at the other end to a motor-driven winding device inside the housing. The balloon is thus pulled in in such a way that it is reversed inside the housing, from which state if can then be blown out unreversed as rapidly deployable camouflage.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 8 . (canceled)
9 . A deployment and undeployment device for a pneumatically inflatable camouflage balloon, comprising a housing, a motor-driven fan with a first motor for supplying air to the housing, a motor-driven roller with a second motor arranged in the housing, a blow-out opening in the housing facing in a direction transverse to the motor-driven roller, which opening is equipped with securing devices at its periphery for sealed mounting and securing of the inflation opening of a camouflage balloon, and in securing devices for at least one pull line are arranged on the roller.
10 . The device according to claim 9 , wherein the motor-driven fan is a radial fan that is mounted with its axis of rotation coincident with the axis of the motor-driven roller.
11 . The device according to claim 9 , wherein the first motor has at least two speeds, a first speed for pneumatic inflation and a second lower speed for preventing a connected inflated balloon from collapsing.
12 . The device according to claim 9 , wherein the second motor has a first drive direction for pulling in a pull line and a second drive direction that enables at least short-term rotation in the opposite direction in conjunction with the start of the first motor at its speed for pneumatic inflation.
13 . The device according to claim 9 , wherein it comprises means for changing the temperature of the air blown from the housing into a camouflage balloon.
14 . The device according to claim 9 , wherein the first motor is mounted inside the roller, which also contains a heating element with a thermostat.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
