Abstract
The components used in this invention has never been utilized in this special type of arrangement ever before. Plastic caps are basically used in other applications such as for sealing water pipes and bottles such as sodas, vitamin bottles and so on, but always on the outside of the bottle, but never in the inside of the bottle, in combination with a wine cork in order to protect the wine from contacting any potential contaminants inside the cork.
Claims

The top section of the modified cork is intended to be compressed when inserted inside the wine bottle neck, but not the lower section that has a lower diameter, that perfectly fits the inside of the bottle neck in a way that does not allow passage to any substantial amount of oxygen or any gas that is outside the wine bottle or even inside the bottle. This modified cork with a plastic cap is intended to be inserted inside the wine bottle neck and allow the wine bottle to be stored in any position or angle, such as horizontal or even upside down. It is also intended that the said modified cork will be of easy installation and also easy to remove with a standard cork remover without the need of special tools.

3 . The said new cork-cap design in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the cork is constructed of wood or the like material.
4 . The said cork-cap design in accordance with claim 3 , wherein the cap that goes into the bottom section of the cork is constructed of plastic or the like material.
5 . The said cork-cap design in accordance with claim 4 where the cork and the bottle neck that will host the said cork has an alternative like geometrical shape such as square or triangular.
6 . The said cork-cap design in accordance with claim 5 , where the liquid inside the bottle is of a different nature.
7 . The said cork-cap design in accordance with claim 6 , wherein the plastic cap is secure to the cork by adding an adhesive or such like material, to the contact surfaces of both components, cork and plastic cap, in order to guarantee that the cap will not be left behind inside the bottle when extracting the cork.
8 . The said cork-cap design in accordance with claim 7 , wherein the cap is secure to the cork by adding a threads to both pieces in a way that the cap can be twisted inside the bottom section of the cork.
9 . The said cork-cap design in accordance with claim 8 , wherein the plastic cap is used to write information or markings imprinted on the outside wall of the said cap, which maybe words, other symbols, or even colors.
