Abstract

A neural event electrode interface is configured to communicate with electrodes that capture electrical signals that are associated with at least one neuron. A neural event waveform processor is configured to extract neural events from the electrical signals. A wireless transmitter is configured to wirelessly transmit the neural events that are extracted from the electrical signals.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A method for processing neural events comprising:
capturing electrical signals that are associated with at least one neuron; extracting neural events from the electrical signals that were captured; wirelessly transmitting the neural events that were extracted from the electrical signals that were captured; wirelessly receiving prosthesis stimulation waveforms that are based upon the neural events that were wirelessly transmitted; and providing the prosthesis stimulation waveforms that were wirelessly received to a prosthesis.

2 . A method for processing neural events comprising:
capturing electrical signals that are associated with at least one neuron; extracting neural events from the electrical signals that were captured; wirelessly transmitting to a biomimetric device the neural events that were extracted from the electrical signals that were captured; wirelessly receiving neural stimulation waveforms from the biomimetric device in response to the neural events that were wirelessly transmitted to the biomimetric device; and providing the neural stimulation waveforms that were wirelessly received to at least one neuron.
