Automatic recording/reproducing method and automatic recording/reproducing apparatus

Abstract

Recording reservation information of a plurality of programs is grouped and at least the latest program among the programs recorded on the basis of the reservation information is left on a recording medium. Therefore, a program information registration unit to register a plurality of items of recording reservation information as groups and a reserved program recording control unit to record the reserved programs onto the recording medium and leave at least the latest program among the programs recorded on the recording medium to delete the others on the basis of the reservation information.

       2 . A recording control apparatus comprising:
 a program reservation information registration unit configured to register a recording reservation of programs including a predetermined content, based on program information included in a broadcasting signal; and   a recording control unit configured to record a program, which corresponds to the recording reservation registered by the program recording reservation information registration unit and includes the predetermined content, on a recording medium,   wherein the recording control unit determines whether the program is to be recorded or not in accordance with a broadcast time of the program.   
   
   
       3 . The apparatus according to  claim 2 , further comprising a reproducing control unit configured to reproduce a last recorded program of programs including the predetermined content and recorded on the recording medium by the recording control unit. 
   
   
       4 . The apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the predetermined content is at least one of a weather forecast program and a news program. 
   
   
       5 . The apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the recording control unit records a program of the programs including the predetermined content, a broadcast time of the program being equal to or shorter than a predetermined broadcast time. 
   
   
       6 . The apparatus according to  claim 5 , wherein the recording control unit detects whether the broadcast time of the program including the predetermined content exceeds the predetermined broadcast time while the recording control unit is recording the program. 
   
   
       7 . A recording control apparatus comprising:
 a program reservation information registration unit configured to register a recording reservation of programs including a predetermined content, based on program information included in a broadcasting signal; and   a recording control unit configured to record a program, which corresponds to the recording reservation registered by the program recording reservation information registration unit and includes the predetermined content, on a recording medium,   wherein the recording control unit does not record the program corresponding to the recording reservation on the recording medium when the program is not finished after a lapse of a predetermined broadcast time.   
   
   
       8 . The apparatus according to  claim 7 , further comprising a reproducing control unit configured to reproduce a last recorded program of programs including the predetermined content and recorded on the recording medium by the recording control unit. 
   
   
       9 . The apparatus according to  claim 7 , wherein the predetermined content is at least one of a weather forecast program and a news program. 
   
   
       10 . A method of controlling a recording control apparatus, the method comprising:
 registering a recording reservation of programs including a predetermined content, based on program information included in a broadcasting signal; and   recording a program, which corresponds to the recording reservation and includes the predetermined content, on a recording medium,   wherein recording the program on the recording medium includes determining whether the program is to be recorded or not in accordance with a broadcast time of the program.
