Abstract

A portable toilet used in outdoor activities including driving, camping, and fishing, and in time of disasters such as earthquake is provided, which portable toilet can be provided inexpensively as the structure of the toilet seat portion to be installed on a pail can is very small and thus can be mass produced at low material cost. The portable toilet is convenient to carry around since the toilet seat portion can be accommodated in the pail can when not being used. The portable toilet includes a pail can 1 configuring a toilet bowl body, a stool accommodating plastic bag 2 , and a pair of toilet seat configuring left half-body 11 and a right half-body 12 facing each other on the left and the right. Fit-in concave grooves 13, 23 are arranged at positions slightly shifted to an outer side from a center line in a width direction at the lower surface of seating pars 12, 22 of the toilet seat configuring left body 11 and the right half-body 21 , and of inner/outer detachment prevention convex parts 14, 15, 24, 25 projecting downward along inner and outer side edges of the corresponding fit-in concave grooves 13, 23 , a height of the inner detachment prevention convex part 14, 24 is higher than a height of the outer detachment prevention convex parts 15, 25.
