Can comprising a foil seal
Abstract
A can includes a membrane seal ( 5 ), which has a continuous bead ( 3 ) in the can casing ( 1 ), the bead facing inwards in the vicinity of the can edge ( 8 ), preferably at a distance of between 1 and 10 mm from the edge. The bead is connected in a sealed manner to a sealing membrane ( 5 ), for example a foil membrane, in particular a tear-open foil. The upper part ( 3 a ) of the bead facing the can edge and the lower part ( 3 b ) of the bead facing the interior of the can, viewed when the can is upright, extend inwards either horizontally or obliquely in a uniform or alternating manner. The bead ( 3 ) can have an approximately semi-circular or triangular cross-section and preferably has an oblique lower part ( 3 b ) in order to completely empty the can. In one embodiment, a lid ( 7 ) engages in a positive fit with the bead ( 3 ) by an edge thickening ( 6 ).
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . Can comprising can casing ( 1 ), can edge ( 8 ) and a membrane seal ( 5 ), optionally additionally comprising a lid ( 7 ), characterized in that it has, in the vicinity of the can edge, preferably at a distance of 1 to 10 mm from the can edge, a continuous, inward-facing bead ( 3 ) in the can casing, which bead is connected with a seal at its top ( 3 a ) facing the can edge to a sealing membrane ( 5 ) in the form of a tear-open foil by adhesive bonding or sealing, the top ( 3 a ) of the bead facing the can edge—considered in the case of an upright can—running horizontally inwards.
2 . Can according to claim 1 , characterized in that the bead has a horizontal top—in the case of an upright can—and an oblique, optionally curved, bottom.
3 . Can according to claim 1 , characterized in that the bevel is about 45°.
4 . Can according to claim 1 , characterized in that the sealing membrane is additionally connected with a seal to a part ( 1 a ) of the can casing which is adjacent to the top of the bead.
5 . Can according to claim 1 , characterized in that the sealing membrane is connected to the bead and optionally to the adjacent part ( 1 a ) of the can casing ( 1 ) with a seal by adhesive bonding or heat sealing.
6 . Can according to claim 1 , comprising a can lid ( 7 ) gripping over the can edge, characterized in that the can lid at least partly engages the bead ( 3 ) by means of an edge bead ( 6 ).
7 . Can according to claim 2 , characterized in that the bevel is about 45°.
8 . Can according to claim 2 , characterized in that the sealing membrane is additionally connected with a seal to a part ( 1 a ) of the can casing which is adjacent to the top of the bead.
9 . Can according to claim 3 , characterized in that the sealing membrane is additionally connected with a seal to a part ( 1 a ) of the can casing which is adjacent to the top of the bead.
10 . Can according to claim 2 , characterized in that the sealing membrane is connected to the bead and optionally to the adjacent part ( 1 a ) of the can casing ( 1 ) with a seal by adhesive bonding or heat sealing.
11 . Can according to claim 3 , characterized in that the sealing membrane is connected to the bead and optionally to the adjacent part ( 1 a ) of the can casing ( 1 ) with a seal by adhesive bonding or heat sealing.
12 . Can according to claim 4 , characterized in that the sealing membrane is connected to the bead and optionally to the adjacent part ( 1 a ) of the can casing ( 1 ) with a seal by adhesive bonding or heat sealing.
13 . Can according to claim 2 , comprising a can lid ( 7 ) gripping over the can edge, characterized in that the can lid at least partly engages the bead ( 3 ) by means of an edge bead ( 6 ).
14 . Can according to claim 3 , comprising a can lid ( 7 ) gripping over the can edge, characterized in that the can lid at least partly engages the bead ( 3 ) by means of an edge bead ( 6 ).
15 . Can according to claim 4 , comprising a can lid ( 7 ) gripping over the can edge, characterized in that the can lid at least partly engages the bead ( 3 ) by means of an edge bead ( 6 ).
16 . Can according to claim 5 , comprising a can lid ( 7 ) gripping over the can edge, characterized in that the can lid at least partly engages the bead ( 3 ) by means of an edge bead ( 6 ).Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
