Claims

Abstract

A means for purifying a liquid comprising: a means for a first filtration of said liquid; a means for causing said liquid to be in turbulent flow; a means for ionizing said liquid in turbulent flow; a means for irradiating said liquid to light in the 100 to 300 nanometer range; a means for a second filtration of said liquid, and a means for filtering out aromatic ring structures.

1 . A means for purifying a liquid comprising:
 a. a means for supplying said liquid under pressure to a first unit;   b. a first means for filtering said liquid in said first unit;   c. a means for transferring said liquid from said first unit to a second unit;   d. a means for exposing said liquid in said second unit to a reaction material, said reaction material causing contaminants in said liquid to reduce and/or oxidize;   e. a means for transferring said liquid in said second unit to a third unit;   f. a means for generating light in the 100 to 300 nanometer range;   g. a means for exposing said liquid in said third unit to said light in the 100 to 300 nanometer range;   h. a means for transferring said liquid from said third unit to a fourth unit;   i. a second means for filtering said liquid in said fourth unit;   j. a means for transferring said liquid from said fourth unit to a fifth unit;   k. a means for filtering out aromatic ring structures and contaminants in said fifth unit; and   f. a means for transferring said liquid out of said fifth unit.   
     
     
         2 . The means for purifying a liquid as defined by  claim 1 , wherein said means further comprises a means for pre-setting said light to a specific pre-selected wavelength in the 100 to 300 nanometer range. 
     
     
         3 . The means for purifying a liquid as defined by  claim 1 , wherein said means further comprises a means for setting said light to a specific user set wavelength in the 100 to 300 nanometer range. 
     
     
         4 . The means for purifying a liquid as defined by  claim 1 , wherein said means further comprises a means for pre-setting said light to oscillating wavelength spectrums of said light within different 100 to 300 nanometer ranges at pre-selected wavelength spectrums and oscillation speed. 
     
     
         5 . The means for purifying a liquid as defined by  claim 1 , wherein said means further comprises a means for setting said light to oscillating wavelength spectrums of said light within different 100 to 300 nanometer ranges at user selected wavelength spectrums and oscillation speed. 
     
     
         6 . The means for purifying liquid as defined by  claim 1 , wherein said means for exposing said liquid to a reaction material further comprises additional means for causing said reaction material to be in turbulent flow with said liquid 
     
     
         7 . The means for purifying liquid as defined by  claim 1 , wherein said means for exposing said liquid to a reaction material further comprises;
 a. additional means for creating a plurality of separate levels within said second unit; and   b. additional means for supplying each said level different types of reaction materials for exposing said liquid to.   
     
     
         8 . The means for purifying a liquid as defined in any one of  claims 1  through  7 , wherein said means further comprises a means for regulating said flow of said liquid. 
     
     
         9 . The means for purifying a liquid as defined in any one of  claims 1  through  7 , wherein said means further comprises a means to monitor the flow of said liquid, said flow means operatively connected to said light generator such that said light generating means only activates to generate light in the 100 to 300 nanometer range when said flow means indicates said liquid is flowing through said flow means. 
     
     
         10 . The means for purifying a liquid as defined in any one of  claims 1  through  7 , wherein said means further comprises a means for regulating said liquid pressure and a means to monitor the flow of said liquid, said flow means operatively connected to said light generating means such that said light generating means only activates to generate light in the 100 to 300 nanometer range when said flow means indicates said liquid is flowing through said flow means. 
     
     
         11 . The means for purifying a liquid as defined by any one of  claims 1  through  7 , wherein said means further comprises;
 a. means for transferring said liquid from said fifth unit to a sixth unit; and   b. a means for exposing said liquid in said sixth unit to said light in the 100 to 300 nanometer range.   
     
     
         12 . The means for purifying a liquid as defined by any one of  claims 1  through  7 , wherein said means further comprises;
 a means for separating said light from said liquid in said third unit in a manner that allows said light to pass through said separating means without diminishing said light wavelength spectrum.   
     
     
         13 . The means for purifying a liquid as defined by any one of  claims 1  through  7 , wherein said means further comprises;
 a. means for transferring said liquid from said fifth unit to a sixth unit;   b. a means for exposing said liquid in said sixth unit to said light in the 100 to 300 nanometer range; and   a means for separating said light from said liquid in said third and sixth units in a manner that allows said light to pass through said separating means without diminishing said light wavelength spectrum.
