Abstract

Disclosed herein are compositions and methods for treating a variety of mood and behavioral disorders, including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, memory loss, as well as other conditions. Also disclosed herein are methods for diagnosing certain conditions, such as ADHD, using these compositions.

1 . A composition for treating mood and/or behavioral disorders in human subjects, comprising 3 or more homeopathic pellets of Aconite of at least 3× strength. 
   
   
       2 . The composition of  claim 1 , comprising 5 or more homeopathic pellets of Aconite of at least 3× strength. 
   
   
       3 . The composition of  claim 2 , comprising 5 or more homeopathic pellets of Aconite of at least 6× strength. 
   
   
       4 . The composition of  claim 3 , further comprising GABA and L-tyrosine. 
   
   
       5 . The composition of  claim 4 , further comprising about 50-500 mg GABA and about 200-500 mg L-tyrosine. 
   
   
       6 . The composition of  claim 1 , further comprising one or more nutritional supplements. 
   
   
       7 . The composition of  claim 6 , wherein the one or more nutritional supplements are selected from the group consisting of pynogenol, L-tyrosine, Ginko biloba, DMAE, Gotu kola, Guarana, L-5HTP, magnesium, and zinc. 
   
   
       8 . A composition for treating mood and/or behavioral disorders in human subjects, consisting essentially of 3 or more homeopathic pellets of Aconite of at least 3× strength. 
   
   
       9 . The composition of  claim 8 , consisting essentially of 5 or more homeopathic pellets of Aconite of at least 3× strength. 
   
   
       10 . The composition of  claim 9 , consisting essentially of 5 or more homeopathic pellets of Aconite of at least 6× strength. 
   
   
       11 . A method for treating attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, comprising orally administering to a human subject affected with said disorder a composition comprising 3 or more homeopathic pellets of Aconite of at least 3× strength. 
   
   
       12 . The method of  claim 11 , wherein the composition comprises 5 or more homeopathic pellets of Aconite of at least 6× strength, and further comprises GABA and L-tyrosine. 
   
   
       13 . A method for treating attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, comprising orally administering to a human subject affected with said disorder a composition consisting essentially of 3 or more homeopathic pellets of Aconite of at least 3× strength. 
   
   
       14 . A method for treating attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, comprising orally administering to a human subject affected with said disorder a composition consisting essentially of 4 or more homeopathic pellets of Aconite of at least 3× strength, GABA and L-tyrosine. 
   
   
       15 . A method for activating the prefrontal cortex of the brain in a human or mammal subject, comprising orally administering to the subject a composition comprising 3 or more homeopathic pellets of Aconite of at least 3× strength. 
   
   
       16 . The method of  claim 15 , comprising orally administering to the subject a composition comprising 3 or more homeopathic pellets of Aconite of at least 3× strength, GABA and L-Tyrosine. 
   
   
       17 . A method for diagnosing attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in a human subject comprising determining whether the subject's polarity has switched. 
   
   
       18 . The method of  claim 17 , utilizing Aconite. 
   
   
       19 . The composition of  claim 5 , further comprising about 165 mg GABA and about 335 mg L-tyrosine.
