An organopolysiloxane having a main chain composed of the following repeating units (I), 2 to 199 side chain units (II) and 1 to 50 crosslinkage units (III) per 100 SiO units in the main chain, provided that the organopolysiloxane has at least 2, on average, crosslinkage units (III):

An organopolysiloxane having a main chain composed of the following repeating units (I), 2 to 199 side chain unites (II) and 1 to 50 crosslinkage units (III) per 100 SiO units in the main chain, provided that the organopolysiloxane has at least 2, on average, crosslinkage units (III), 
     
       
         
         
             
             
         
       
       wherein R 1  may be the same with or different from each other and is an organic group selected from the group consisting of substituted or unsubstituted C 1-30  hydrocarbon groups having no aliphatic unsaturated bond, a group represented by the formula, —C j H 2j O(C k H 2k O) b R 4 , wherein j is an integer of from 2 to 20, k is an integer of from 2 to 4, b is an integer of from 2 to 100, R 4  is a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted C 1-30  hydrocarbon group or an acetyl group, and a group represented by the formula, —C g H 2g OCH 2  CH(OH)CH 2 O(CH 2 CH(OH)CH 2 O) c R 4 , wherein g is an integer of from 2 to 20 and c is an integer of from 0 to 10,

       2 . The organopolysiloxane according to  claim 1 , wherein 50 to 95 mole % of R 1  is a methyl group and 50 to 5 mole % of R 1  is a hydrocarbon group having 6 to 30 carbon atoms. 
   
   
       3 . The organopolysiloxane according to  claim 1 , wherein the organopolysiloxane has 5 to 100 side chain units (II) and 2 to 30 crosslinkage units (III) per 100 SiO units in the main chain. 
   
   
       4 . A paste composition comprising the organopolysiloxane according to  claim 1  and an unctuous agent in a weight ratio of the organopolysiloxane/the unctuous agent ranging from 1/20 to 20/1, said organopolysiloxane being swollen with the unctuous agent. 
   
   
       5 . The paste composition according to  claim 4 , wherein the unctuous agent is at least one selected from the group consisting of silicone oils, hydrocarbon oils, ester oils, natural animal or plant oils and semisynthetic oils. 
   
   
       6 . A cosmetic comprising the organopolysiloxane according to  claim 1 . 
   
   
       7 . The cosmetic according to  claim 6 , wherein the cosmetic further comprises (B) an unctuous agent. 
   
   
       8 . The cosmetic according to  claim 6 , wherein the cosmetic further comprises (C) water. 
   
   
       9 . The cosmetic according to  claim 6 , wherein the cosmetic further comprises (D) a compound having an alcoholic hydroxyl group. 
   
   
       10 . The cosmetic according to  claim 6 , wherein the cosmetic further comprises (E) a water-soluble or water-swelling polymer. 
   
   
       11 . The cosmetic according to  claim 6 , wherein, the cosmetic further comprises (F) powder. 
   
   
       12 . The cosmetic according to  claim 11 , wherein at least a part of the powder (F) is spherical fine powder of crosslinked dimethylpolysiloxane, spherical fine powder of crosslinked polymethylsilsesquioxane, or fine powder of spherical crosslinked polysiloxane rubber coated with polymethylsilsesquioxane particles. 
   
   
       13 . The cosmetic according to  claim 6 , wherein the cosmetic further comprises (G) a surfactant. 
   
   
       14 . The cosmetic according to  claim 13 , wherein the surfactant (G) is at least one selected from the group consisting of a linear or branched organopolysiloxane having a polyoxyalkylene group, a linear or branched organopolysiloxane having a polyglycerin residue, and a linear or branched organopolysiloxane having a C 6-20  alkyl group and a polyoxyalkylene group or a polyglycerin residue. 
   
   
       15 . The cosmetic according to  claim 14 , wherein the hydrophilic polyoxyalkylene group or the polyglycerin residue accounts for from 10 to 70 wt % of the surfactant (G). 
   
   
       16 . The cosmetic according to  claim 6 , wherein the cosmetic further comprises (H) a silicone resin. 
   
   
       17 . The cosmetic according to  claim 16 , wherein the silicone resin (H) is an acryl silicone resin. 
   
   
       18 . The cosmetic according to  claim 16 , wherein the silicone resin (H) is at least one selected from the group consisting of a silicone resin composed of R 1   3 SiO 0.5  units and SiO 2  units, a silicone resin composed of R 1   3 SiO 0.5  units, R 1   2 SiO units and SiO 2  units, a silicone resin composed of R 1   3 SiO 0.5  units and R 1 SiO1.5 units, a silicone resin composed of R 1   3 SiO 0.5  units, R 1   2  SiO units and R 1 SiO 1.5  units, and a silicone resin composed of R 1   3 SiO 0.5  units, R 1   2  SiO units, R 1 SiO 1.5  units and SiO 2  units. 
   
   
       19 . The cosmetic according to  claim 16 , wherein the silicone resin (H) has at least one organic group selected from the group consisting of a pyrrolidone residue, long chain alkyl groups, polyoxyalkylene groups, polyglycerin residue, fluoroalkyl groups, and a carboxyl group. 
   
   
       20 . The cosmetic according to  claim 6 , wherein the cosmetic further comprises (I) a composition consisting of a crosslinked organopolysiloxane in addition to the organopolysiloxane, and an unctuous agent which is liquid at room temperature. 
   
   
       21 . The cosmetic according to  claim 6 , wherein the cosmetic is a skin care cosmetic, makeup cosmetic, hair cosmetic, antiperspirant cosmetic, or UV ray protective cosmetic. 
   
   
       22 . The cosmetic according to  claim 6 , wherein the cosmetic is in the form of liquid, emulsion, cream, solid, paste, gel, powder, pressed powder, mousse, spray or stick. 
   
   
       23 . A method of preparing an organopolysiloxane comprising the steps of
 (1) subjecting to an addition reaction an organohydrogenpolyiloxane having at least 3, per molecule, alkylhydrogensiloxane units represented by the formula, —(Si(R 1 )(H)O)—, and an organovinylpolysiloxane represented by the following formula (XII),   
     
       
         
         
             
             
         
       
       wherein R 1  may be the same with or different from each other and is selected from the group consisting of substituted or unsubstituted C 1-30  hydrocarbon groups having no aliphatic unsaturated bond, a group represented by the formula, —C j H 2j O(C k H 2k O) b R 4 , wherein j is an integer of from 2 to 20, k is an integer of from 2 to 4, b is an integer of from 2 to 100, R 4  is a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted C 1-30  hydrocarbon group or an acetyl group, and a group represented by the formula, —C g H 2g OCH 2 CH(OH)CH 2 O(CH 2 CH(OH)CH 2 O) c R 4 , wherein g is an integer of from 2 to 20 and c is an integer of from 0 to 10, 
       R 2  may be the same with or different from each other and is a substituted or unsubstituted C 1-30  hydrocarbon group having no aliphatic unsaturated bond, 
       a is an integer of from 1 to 300, and 
       (2) subjecting to a reaction the organohydrogenpolysiloxane obtained in the step (1) and at least one selected from the group consisting of an organopolysiloxane of the following formula (VIII), a polyoxyalkylene compound of the following formula(IX), an α,ω-diene compound of the following formula(X), and a (poly)glyceryl compound of the following formula(XI)
