Trans-1,2 Dichloroethylene Composition

Abstract

The present invention relates to a composition based on trans-1,2-dichloroethylene. A subject-matter of the invention is more particularly a nonflammable composition comprising trans-1,2-dichloroethylene and at least two hydrofluorocarbons and its uses.

1 . Composition comprising trans-1,2-dichloroethylene, 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane and 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (134a). 
   
   
       2 . Composition according to  claim 1 , comprising from 10 to 98% by weight of trans-1,2-dichloroethylene, from 1 to 89% by weight of 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane and from 1 to 80% by weight of 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (134a). 
   
   
       3 . Composition according to  claim 1 , comprising from 25 to 95% by weight of trans-1,2-dichloroethylene, from 1 to 45% by weight of 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane and from 1 to 30% by weight of 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (134a). 
   
   
       4 . Composition according to  claim 1 , comprising from 45 to 95% by weight of trans-1,2-dichloroethylene, from 1 to 45% by weight of 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane and from 1 to 30% by weight of 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (134a). 
   
   
       5 . Composition according to  claim 1 , comprising from 80 to 95% by weight of trans-1,2-dichloroethylene, from 1 to 19% by weight of 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane and from 1 to 15% by weight of 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (134a). 
   
   
       6 . Composition according to  claim 1 , further comprising a polyol or a mixture of polyols. 
   
   
       7 . Blowing agent comprising a composition according to  claim 1 . 
   
   
       8 . Process for the manufacture of thermoplastic polymer foams using the blowing agent according to  claim 7 . 
   
   
       9 . Solvent comprising a composition according to  claim 1 .
