Abstract

Stairs are described, comprising a lining made of tread plates ( 3 ) fastened in the tread area ( 2 ) of the steps ( 1 ) and riser plates ( 5 ) arranged in the riser area ( 4 ) which are held with a lower boundary section between the riser area ( 4 ) of the steps ( 1 ) and the respectively adjacent bottom tread plate ( 3 ) and are overlapped in the upper boundary region ( 14 ) by a downwardly projecting boundary nose ( 16 ) of the respective upper tread plate ( 3 ). In order to provide advantageous fastening conditions it is proposed that the riser plates ( 5 ) engage with their bottom boundary section into an upwardly open holder profile ( 6 ) which is U-shaped in its cross section and is fastened with the leg ( 8 ) on the step side in the riser area ( 4 ) of the steps ( 1 ) and overlaps the adjacent bottom tread plate ( 3 ) with a bent covering flange ( 10 ) of the other leg ( 9 ).

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . Stairs with a lining made of tread plates fastened in the tread area of the steps and riser plates arranged in the riser area which are held with a lower boundary section between the riser area of the steps and the respectively adjacent bottom tread plate and are overlapped in the upper boundary region by a downwardly projecting boundary nose of the respective upper tread plate, wherein the riser plates ( 5 ) engage with their bottom boundary section into an upwardly open holder profile ( 6 ) which is U-shaped in its cross section and is fastened with the leg ( 8 ) on the step side in the riser area ( 4 ) of the steps ( 1 ) overlaps the adjacent bottom tread plate ( 3 ) with a bent covering flange ( 10 ) of the other leg ( 9 ).

2 . Stairs according to claim 1 , wherein the bent covering flange ( 10 ) of the holder profile ( 6 ) can project downwardly against the overlapped tread plate.

       3 . Stairs according to claim 2 , wherein the bent covering flange ( 10 ) of the holder profile ( 6 ) has a cross-sectional shape adjusted to a quarter circle.

       4 . Stairs according to claim 1 , wherein the covering flange ( 10 ) is joined with the adjacent leg ( 9 ) of the holder profile ( 6 ) by means of a bending area ( 12 ).

       5 . Stairs according to claim 1 , wherein the transitional areas between the legs ( 8 , 9 ) and the web ( 7 ) connecting the legs ( 8 , 9 ) of the holder profile ( 6 ) which is U-shaped in its cross section from bending points.

6 . Stairs according to claim 1 , wherein a downwardly open receiving profile ( 15 ) for the upper boundary region ( 14 ) of the riser plates ( 5 ) is provided on the inside of the downwardly projecting boundary nose ( 16 ) of the tread plates ( 3 ).

       7 . Stairs according to claim 6 , wherein the receiving profile ( 15 ) forms a fastening web ( 17 ) engaging in a groove of the boundary nose ( 16 ) of the tread plates.
