Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method of playing a card game comprising the steps of:
A. The game can be played using one or multiple decks or cards. B. The players will make an ante bet. C. The dealer will collect the ante bets and verify the accuracy of the pot. D. The dealer will deal each player one card face up. E. The player receiving the highest card will win the pot. F. In the event two or more players tie, they will advance to the tiebreaker round. G. Players advancing to the tiebreaker round will place an additional ante bet. H. The dealer will collect the bets and verify the accuracy of the pot. I. Each player in the tiebreaker round will receive one card face up. J. Steps G, H, and I, will be repeated until there is one winner. K. Prior to awarding the pot to the player, the dealer will deduct the house fee for conducting the game from the pot. L. The dealer will award the pot to the winning player.
2 . Changing the value of the cards creates a new variation of the game. An example would be having the ace count as one and the Jack, Queen, and King count as 10. In this variation four different cards would have the highest value. In the event one player received a ten, and another player received a King, the players would tie.
3 . Changing the method of breaking ties among the players creates a new variation of the game. An example would be if there is tie hand, the entire pot rolls over into the next hand. Pots would continue to roll over until there is a single winner of the hand.
The preferred embodiment of this game would be played using six decks or cards. The card values would be changed to where the Ace counts as one, and the Jack, Queen, King, counts as 10. By having six decks of cards in play, with four different cards having the highest value; numerous opportunities are created for the players to tie. Advancing to the tiebreaker round adds additional excitement to the game. This embodiment would be very entertaining for the novice player.
While this presentation has only been discussed in the context of a table game within a casino, it can be adapted to other forms of gambling or entertainment. These would include but not be limited to video games for the PC or game console and video slot machines.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
