Releasable closures for removable display surfaces
Abstract
A precisely measured removable cover for reusable beverage containers with releasable closures. The cover has a flexible sheet with a graphical display imprinted on one side and a cover fastener for removably fastening the cover to a container. The sheet is advantageously adapted to substantially cover the side walls of the container. The cover fastener has one or more releasable closures, and at least one of the releasable closures includes a fluked tab interlock locking tab and slot structure, wherein the fluked tab is on one end of the cover and the slot is proximate the opposite end of the cover and parallel to the fluked tab. A cam/slot paired closure is also disclosed.

A method for removably covering a plurality of dispensers, each respective dispenser being from a plurality of different beverage dispenser series, each dispenser of a dispenser series having particular size and shape dimensions identical to every other dispenser in the series and different from at least one dispenser in one other series, the method comprising:
a. precisely measuring at least one dispenser from each of the plurality of dispenser series to create dispenser size and shape measurements for each dispenser series; and the method further comprising steps 1.b and 1.c in no particular order: b. precisely cutting a flexible sheet of a translucent material from the dispenser size and shape measurements for each series; c. imprinting a graphical image on each sheet; and
the method further comprising:
d. removably wrapping each sheet around each respective dispenser; and
e. releasably fastening a cover closure operably associated with each sheet to temporarily hold the sheet in place on each respective dispenser.
2 . The method of claim 1 wherein in step 1.e the cover closure operably associated with each sheet is releasably fastened by fastening a plurality of releasable fasteners at spaced intervals.
3 . The method of claim 1 wherein in step 1.e the cover closure operably associated with each sheet is releasably fastened by fastening a strip of releasable closure material.
4 . The method of claim 1 wherein in step 1.e the cover closure is releasably fastened by fastening a releasable closure selected from the group of releasable closures consisting of paired tab and slot closure, paired hook and pile closure, magnetic material closure, and reusable pressure sensitive adhesive closure.
5 . The method of claim 4 wherein in step 1.e the cover closure is releasably fastened by fastening at least one pressure sensitive adhesive closure.
6 . A method for removably covering a plurality of airports, each respective airpot being from a plurality of different airpot series, each airpot of an airpot series having particular size and shape dimensions identical to every other airpot in the series and different from at least one airpot in one other series, the method comprising:
a. precisely measuring at least one airpot from each of the plurality of airpot series to create airpot size and shape measurements for each airpot series; and
the method further comprising steps 6.b and 6.c in no particular order:
b. precisely cutting a flexible sheet of a translucent material from the airpot size and shape measurements for each series;
c. imprinting a graphical image on each sheet; and
the method further comprising:
d. removably wrapping each sheet around each respective airpot; and
e. releasably fastening a cover closure operably associated with each sheet to temporarily hold the sheet in place on each respective airpot.
7 . The method of claim 6 wherein in step 6.e the cover closure operably associated with each sheet is releasably fastened by fastening a plurality of releasable fasteners at spaced intervals.
8 . The method of claim 6 wherein in step 6.e the cover closure operably associated with each sheet is releasably fastened by fastening a strip of releasable closure material.
9 . The method of claim 6 wherein in step 6.e the cover closure is releasably fastened by fastening a releasable closure selected from the group of releasable closures consisting of paired tab and slot closure, paired hook and pile closure, magnetic material closure, and reusable pressure sensitive adhesive closure.
10 . The method of claim 9 wherein in step 6.e the cover closure is releasably fastened by fastening at least one pressure sensitive adhesive closure.
11 . A method for removably covering a plurality of dispensers, each respective dispenser having side walls that are non-cylindrical, each respective dispenser further being from a plurality of different beverage dispenser series, each dispenser of a dispenser series having particular size and shape dimensions identical to every other dispenser in the series and particular size and shape dimensions different from at least one dispenser in one other series, the method comprising:
a. precisely measuring at least one dispenser from each of the plurality of dispenser series to create dispenser size and shape measurements for each dispenser series; and
the method further comprising steps 11.b and 11.c in no particular order:
b. precisely cutting a flexible sheet of a translucent material from the dispenser size and shape measurements for each series;
c. imprinting a graphical image on each sheet; and
the method further comprising:
d. removably wrapping each sheet around each respective dispenser; and
e. releasably fastening a cover closure operably associated with each sheet to temporarily hold the sheet in place on each respective dispenser.
12 . The method of claim 11 wherein in step 11.e the cover closure operably associated with each sheet is releasably fastened by fastening a plurality of releasable fasteners at spaced intervals.
13 . The method of claim 11 wherein in step 11.e the cover closure operably associated with each sheet is releasably fastened by fastening a strip of releasable closure material.
14 . The method of claim 11 wherein in step 11.e the cover closure is releasably fastened by fastening a releasable closure selected from the group of releasable closures consisting of paired tab and slot closure, paired hook and pile closure, magnetic material closure, and reusable pressure sensitive adhesive closure.
15 . The method of claim 14 wherein in step 11.e the cover closure is releasably fastened by fastening at least one pressure sensitive adhesive closure.

A method for removably covering a plurality of dispensers, each respective dispenser being from a plurality of different beverage dispenser series, each dispenser of a dispenser series having particular size and shape dimensions identical to every other dispenser in the series and different from at least one dispenser in one other series, the method comprising:

the method further comprising steps 16.b and 16.c in no particular order:
b. precisely cutting a flexible sheet of a translucent material from the dispenser size and shape measurements for each series;
c. imprinting a graphical image on each sheet; and
the method further comprising:
d. removably wrapping each sheet around each respective dispenser; and
e. releasably fastening a cover closure operably associated with each sheetto temporarily hold the sheet in place on each respective dispenser, the cover closure selected from the group of releasable closures consisting of paired tab and slot closure, paired hook and pile closure, magnetic material closure, and reusable pressure sensitive adhesive closure.
17 . The method of claim 16 wherein in step 16.e the cover closure operably associated with each sheet is releasably fastened by fastening a plurality of releasable fasteners at spaced intervals.
