Abstract
The present teachings provide a device including a memory. According to various embodiments, the memory is readable, writable, and rewritable. The present teachings further provide processing stations, e.g., for carrying out electrophoresis, pcr, genetic analysis, sample preparation, and/or sample cleanup, etc., that are capable of reading from and/or writing/rewriting to such memory.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A biomolecule sequence analysis system, comprising:
a substrate; at least one fluid channel formed in the substrate and having a detection zone; a detector capable of detecting emissions from the detection zone and providing information about a sequence of a biomolecule sample; a processing station comprising a computing portion and configured to carry out sample processing; a reader-writer unit in the processing station and in communication with the substrate and the detector; wherein programs are installed on the computing portion and are capable of collecting information detected by the detector, analyzing the information, and enhancing the information.
2 . A processing station for biomolecule sequence analysis, comprising:
a device; at least one fluid channel formed in the device and comprising a detection zone; a detector capable of detecting emissions from the detection zone and capable of providing information about a sequence of a biomolecule sample; a reader-writer unit configured to carry out sample processing of information provided by the detector, the reader-writer unit configured to read and write data to the device and configured to read data from the detector; and a computing portion having programs installed therein and capable of collecting the information provided by the detector, analyzing the information, and enhancing the information.
3 . A system for electrophoretic separation of bio-molecules, comprising:
a housing; a substrate in the housing; one or more separation channels formed in the substrate and comprising a detection zone; an excitation beam source in the housing for stimulating emission beams from samples located in the detection zone; a power source in electrical communication with the one or more separation channels; a detector in the housing capable of detecting emission beams from the detection zone; and a computer in the housing connected to the detector, the power source, and the excitation beam source; wherein the computer is programmed to control the power source and the excitation beam source and to store, analyze, and display data detected by the detector.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
