Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
. A method for reducing the contact and/or transfer of contaminants, pathogens and other unwanted materials between a person's body areas comprising skin, hair and body openings, and/or underwear, jewelry and/or other devices worn and localized within said areas, and preferentially trying-on-clothes, e.g. in a clothes shop, when putting on or taking off such trying-on-clothes, which may risk to come into contact with such body areas or underwear, jewelry and/or other devices worn and localized within said areas, especially when trying on such trying-on-clothes, which comprises protecting such body areas or such underwear, jewelry and/or other devices worn and localized within said areas, by mounting a protective device comprising a layer of flexible protective material/materials over at least a part of such body areas or underwear, jewelry and/or other devices worn and localized within said areas, before or in connection with pulling on and/or taking off such clothes.

. A method according to claim 1 for protecting at least the face part of the head and an upper garment during the process of pulling on and/or taking off said upper garment, which comprises protecting the person's head by mounting a protective device comprising a layer of flexible protective material over at least a part of the head before the pulling on and/or taking off of the upper garment.

. A method according to claim 2 wherein at least a part of the protective device is shaped as a hood with an opening which can be pulled over the person's face to cover at least a mayor part of the face against direct contact with the upper garment.

. A method according to claims 2 wherein the protective material within at least a part of the device is air permeable to permit breath through and/or translucent or transparent to permit see through and is made completely or partly from a single-layer material or a multilayer material, optionally being creased or pleated, especially in a region covering the mouth and/or the nose.

. A method according to claim 2 wherein the device comprises closing and/or holding means for improving holding of the device on the person's body, especially the head or lower part of the trunk.

. A method according to claim 5 wherein the closing and/or holding means comprise elastic means, sticky means, Velcro principle means and/or electrostatic means, especially elastic means positioned at the opening of a hood-shaped device, preferably extending circumferentially around the entire or part of the opening of the hood-shaped device.

. A method according to claim 2 wherein the device comprises anti-septic and/or absorbing material, e.g. as an impregnation or a coating.

. A method according to claim 2 wherein the device reaches from at least the level of the thyroid cartilage or lower up to at least the level of the ears or higher, especially to the top of the head, optionally not covering the eyes.

. A method according to claim 2 wherein the device carries information, such as advertisements, logotypes, patterns, signals and/or trade marks.

. A method according to claim 2 wherein the device carries a smell, such as a perfume or other commercial interests, especially such for which the device carries information, especially advertisement.

. A device, especially suited for carrying out the method according to this invention, comprising a layer of thin flexible protective material/materials shaped as a hood with an opening which can be pulled over a person's face to cover at least a mayor part of the face against direct contact with an upper garment or other protection, against the contact of clothes or other worn devices/equipment, e.g. working clothes, working helmets, masks and other protective devices, or shaped as pants or briefs for protecting the lower part of the trunk and/or underwear, jewelry and/or other devices worn and localized within said areas, when pulling on or taking off lower garments or other protection, against the contact of clothes or other worn devices/equipment, e.g. working clothes, working and/or sports and other protective devices.

. A device according to claim 11 wherein the protective material within at least a part of the device is air permeable to permit breath through and/or translucent or transparent to permit see through and is made completely or partly from a single-layer material or a multilayer material, optionally being creased or pleated, especially in a region covering the mouth and/or the nose.

. The use of the method or device according to the invention, especially for holding available for users, free of charge or for lending or for sale, commercially or non-commercially, in connection with the trying on of clothes, especially for customers when trying on such clothes and when holding such clothes available for sale.

.
