Abstract
A basketball net includes a plurality of net-like units including a plurality of first loops on a top for fastening at a rim of a basket, a plurality of second loops at a bottom, and a first connecting cord extending from one end of the first loops, and a knot assembly including a plurality of first knots for tying the first connecting cord of one net-like unit and the cord of an adjacent one of the net-like units, and a plurality of second knots for tying the first connecting cord of one net-like unit and the cord thereof. The net-like units are of different colors. In another embodiment, each net-like unit further includes spikes formed at bottom of each second loop. Roots of the adjacent spikes are tied by a third knot.

A basketball net comprising at least a first, a second, and a third net-like units ( 10 , 10 B, 10 C) formed of cord and each including a plurality of first loops ( 14 , 14 B, 14 C) on a top thereof for fastening at a rim ( 50 ) of a basket, a plurality of second loops ( 15 A) at a bottom thereof, a first connecting cord ( 17 ) extending from one end of the first loops ( 14 , 14 B, 14 C), and a knot assembly ( 13 ) including a plurality of first knots ( 20 ) for tying the first connecting cord ( 17 ) of the first net-like units ( 10 ) and a cord ( 12 B) of the second net-like unit ( 10 B) together, a plurality of second knots ( 30 ) for tying the first connecting cord ( 17 ) of the first net-like unit ( 10 ) and a cord ( 12 ) of the first net-like unit ( 10 ) together, and a plurality of third knots ( 40 ) for tying lowest ones of the second loops ( 15 A).

The basketball net of claim 1 , wherein the first knot ( 20 ) is formed by passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) through a first inner face of the cord ( 11 B) to form a first bending ( 21 ), passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) through a first outer face of a cord ( 11 B) and a first inner face of the first connecting cord ( 17 ) to form a first intersection ( 22 ), passing and turning the first connecting cord ( 17 ) upward through a first outer face thereof to form a second intersection ( 23 ), passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) through a second outer face thereof and a second outer face of the cord ( 11 B) and then turning downward a second inner face of the cord ( 11 B) to form a second bending ( 24 ), passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) through a second inner face thereof and a passage ( 230 ) between the first intersection ( 22 ) and the second intersection ( 23 ) by passing a second outer face of the first connecting cord ( 17 ) to form a third intersection ( 25 ), and drawing the first connecting cord ( 17 ).

The basketball net of claim 1 , wherein the second knot ( 30 ) is formed by passing a free end of the first connecting cord ( 17 ) through a first outer face of the cord ( 12 ) to form a first bending ( 31 ), further passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) through a second outer face of the cord ( 12 ) to form a second bending ( 32 ), passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) through a first inner face of the cord ( 12 ) and turning upward a third outer face of the cord ( 12 ) to form a third bending ( 33 ), passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) upward through an upper portion of a first inner face of the first connecting cord ( 17 ) to form a first intersection ( 34 ) and a fourth bending ( 35 ) sequentially, passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) turning downward through a second inner face of the cord ( 12 ) to form a fifth bending ( 36 ), passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) downward and through a first outer surface thereof and a path between the third bending ( 33 ) and the fourth bending ( 35 ) to form a second intersection ( 37 ), and drawing the first connecting cord ( 17 ).

The basketball net of claim 1 , wherein the third knot ( 40 ) is formed by passing a free end of the first connecting cord ( 17 ) through a first inner face of a lower portion of a second connecting cord ( 18 B) to form a first bending ( 41 ), further passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) through a first outer face of the second connecting cord ( 18 B) and a first inner face of the first connecting cord ( 17 ) to form a first intersection ( 42 ), passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) through a first outer face of the first connecting cord ( 17 ) turning upward to form a second intersection ( 43 ), further passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) through a second outer face of the second connecting cord ( 18 B) to form a second bending ( 44 ), passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) through a second inner face of the second connecting cord ( 18 B) and a second inner face thereof, then turning upward and around a second outer face thereof and a third outer face of the second connecting cord ( 18 B) to form a third bending ( 45 ), further passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) and turning down to pass a third inner faces of both the first connecting cord ( 17 ) and the second connecting cord ( 18 B) and then passing through the passage ( 430 ) between the first intersection ( 42 ) and the second intersection ( 43 ) to form a third intersection ( 46 ), and drawing first connecting cord ( 17 ).
5 . The basketball net of claim 1 , wherein a bottom of each of the lowest ones of the second loops ( 15 A) is formed as spikes.
6 . The basketball net of claim 1 , further comprising a second connecting cord ( 18 B) extending from one end of the cord of lowest ones of the second loops ( 15 A).
7 . The basketball net of claim 1 , wherein the net-like units ( 10 , 10 B, 10 C) are of different colors.
8 . The basketball net of claim 7 , wherein the number of the net-like units ( 10 , 10 B, 10 C) is three.
9 . The basketball net of claim 8 ; wherein the net-like units ( 10 , 10 B, 10 C) include a first net-like unit of blue, a second net-like unit of while, and a third net-like unit of red.

A basketball net comprising first and second net-like units ( 10 , 10 B) formed of cord and each including a plurality of first loops ( 14 , 14 B) on a top thereof for fastening at a rim ( 50 ) of a basket, a plurality of second loops ( 15 A) at a bottom thereof, a first connecting cord ( 17 ) extending from one end of the first loops ( 14 , 14 B), and a knot assembly ( 13 ) including a plurality of first knots ( 20 ) for tying the first connecting cord ( 17 ) of the first net-like unit ( 10 ) and a cord ( 12 B) of the second net-like unit ( 10 B) together, and a plurality of second knots ( 30 ) for tying the first connecting cord ( 17 ) of the first net-like unit ( 10 ) and a cord ( 12 ) of the first net-like unit ( 10 ) together, and a plurality of third knots ( 40 ) for tying lowest ones of the second loops ( 15 A).

The basketball net of claim 10 , wherein the first knot ( 20 ) is formed by passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) through a first inner face of the cord ( 11 B) to form a first bending ( 21 ), passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) through a first outer face of a cord ( 11 B) and a first inner face of the first connecting cord ( 17 ) to form a first intersection ( 22 ), passing and turning the first connecting cord ( 17 ) upward through a first outer face thereof to form a second intersection ( 23 ), passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) through a second outer face thereof and a second outer face of the cord ( 11 B) and then turning downward a second inner face of the cord ( 11 B) to form a second bending ( 24 ), passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) through a second inner face thereof and a passage ( 230 ) between the first intersection ( 22 ) and the second intersection ( 23 ) by passing a second outer face of the first connecting cord ( 17 ) to form a third intersection ( 25 ), and drawing the first connecting cord ( 17 ).

The basketball net of claim 10 , wherein the second knot ( 30 ) is formed by passing a free end of the first connecting cord ( 17 ) through a first outer face of the cord ( 12 ) to form a first bending ( 31 ), further passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) through a second outer face of the cord ( 12 ) to form a second bending ( 32 ), passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) through a first inner face of the cord ( 12 ) and turning upward a third outer face of the cord ( 12 ) to form a third bending ( 33 ), passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) upward through an upper portion of a first inner face of the first connecting cord ( 17 ) to form a first intersection ( 34 ) and a fourth bending ( 35 ) sequentially, passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) turning downward through a second inner face of the cord ( 12 ) to form a fifth bending ( 36 ), passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) downward and through a first outer surface thereof and a path between the third bending ( 33 ) and the fourth bending ( 35 ) to form a second intersection ( 37 ), and drawing the first connecting cord ( 17 ).

The basketball net of claim 10 , wherein the third knot ( 40 ) is formed by passing a free end of the first connecting cord ( 17 ) through a first inner face of a lower portion of a second connecting cord ( 18 B) to form a first bending ( 41 ), further passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) through a first outer face of the second connecting cord ( 18 B) and a first inner face of the first connecting cord ( 17 ) to form a first intersection ( 42 ), passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) through a first outer face of the first connecting cord ( 17 ) turning upward to form a second intersection ( 43 ), further passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) through a second outer face of the second connecting cord ( 18 B) to form a second bending ( 44 ), passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) through a second inner face of the second connecting cord ( 18 B) and a second inner face thereof, then turning upward and around a second outer face thereof and a third outer face of the second connecting cord ( 18 B) to form a third bending ( 45 ), further passing the first connecting cord ( 17 ) and turning down to pass a third inner faces of both the first connecting cord ( 17 ) and the second connecting cord ( 18 B) and then passing through the passage ( 430 ) between the first intersection ( 42 ) and the second intersection ( 43 ) to form a third intersection ( 46 ), and drawing first connecting cord ( 17 ).
