Memorabilia and charm display

Abstract

A display comprising a first substantially planar member formed of substantially two mirror image sections each having a plurality of extensions for holding items, the first member having an extended U-shaped or rectangular shaped void along its longitudinal axis for engaging a reciprocal void along a longitudinal axis of a second member, a second substantially planar member has a plurality of extensions for holding items, and the two planar members engaged along the U-shaped voids to form in cross section a substantially X-shaped structure. The extensions may be shaped in any of a variety of configurations preferably in the shape of a tree. The tree may be formed of rigid metallic or other materials and be integrated with the mementos and their locations. The mementos or charms may be arranged in pre-determined fashion by size, age, or physicality to create a pre-determined shape.

1 . A display comprising:
 a first substantially planar member formed of substantially two mirror image sections each having a plurality of extensions for holding items;   said first member having an extended U-shaped void along its longitudinal axis for engaging a reciprocal U shaped void along a longitudinal axis of a second member;   said two planar members engaged along said U-shaped voids to form in cross section a substantially X-shaped structure.   
   
   
       2 . A display as claimed in  claim 1  wherein said second member is substantially planar and has a plurality of extensions for holding items. 
   
   
       3 . A display as claimed in  claim 1  wherein said second member is formed of two mirror images along its longitudinal axis. 
   
   
       4 . A display as claimed in  claim 1  wherein said second member is substantially identical to said first member. 
   
   
       5 . A display as claimed in  claim 1  wherein said first and second members are rigid. 
   
   
       6 . A display as claimed in  claim 1  wherein said extensions intersect and connect with other extensions to form elliptical and spiral shaped areas for attachment of items. 
   
   
       7 . A display comprising:
 a first substantially flat member formed of substantially two symmetrical sections each having a plurality of extensions for holding items;   said first member having an extended rectangular-shaped void along its longitudinal axis for engaging a reciprocal rectangular shaped void along a longitudinal axis of a second member;   said second substantially flat member has a plurality of extensions for holding items; said second flat member has a plurality of extensions for holding items;   wherein said two flat members when engaged along said rectangular shaped voids form in cross section a substantially X-shaped structure.   
   
   
       8 . A display as claimed in  claim 7  wherein said second member is formed of two mirror images along its longitudinal axis. 
   
   
       9 . A display as claimed in  claim 7  wherein said items are displayed and arranged on said extensions in chronological order as determined by the user. 
   
   
       10 . A display as claimed in  claim 7  wherein said items are displayed and arranged in increasing size order, from extensions on an upper portion of the display to extensions on a lower portion of the display. 
   
   
       11 . A display as claimed in  claim 7  wherein said extensions intersect and connect with other extensions to form elliptical and spiral shaped areas for attachment of items. 
   
   
       12 . A display comprising:
 a first substantially flat member formed of two substantially symmetrical sections about a longitudinal axis having a U-shaped void in said axis,   Said symmetrical sections each having a plurality of extensions for holding items of significance to the user;   A second member having a U-shaped void along its axis and at least two legs extended outward from said axis, where said second member is engaged to said first member along said U-shaped void.   
   
   
       13 . A display as claimed in  claim 12  wherein said items are displayed and arranged on said extensions in chronological order as determined by the user. 
   
   
       14 . A display as claimed in  claim 12  wherein said items are displayed and arranged in increasing size order, from extensions on the upper portion of the display to extensions on the lower portion of the display. 
   
   
       15 . A display as claimed in  claim 12  wherein said items are displayed and arranged on said extensions in user defined ranking order.
