Abstract
A sound information output apparatus includes a data reading unit, a processor, a memory, a sound generator unit, a sound output unit, and a speaker. The apparatus assigns an identification sound to each CD, and outputs the identification sound prior to the contents of the CD when the CD is played.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 6 . (canceled)
7 . An apparatus for outputting audio information of contents in a form of sound, comprising:
a reading unit that reads information of the contents from a recording medium on which the contents are recorded; a retrieving unit that retrieves identification information unique to each recording medium, the identification information created based on the information read; a creating unit that creates identification information for a recording medium for which the identification information has not been retrieved by the retrieving unit; and an output unit that outputs sound identified by the identification information.
8 . The apparatus according to claim 7 , wherein
the output unit outputs the sound identified by the identification information prior to output of the audio information of the contents.
9 . The apparatus according to claim 7 , wherein
the creating unit creates the identification information by determining values of parameters at random.
10 . The apparatus according to claim 7 , wherein
the creating unit creates the identification information by determining values of parameters based on the information read.
11 . A method of outputting audio information of contents in a form of sound, comprising:
reading information of the contents from a recording medium on which the contents are recorded; retrieving identification information unique to each recording medium, the identification information created based on the information read; creating identification information for a recording medium for which the identification information has not been retrieved at the retrieving; and outputting sound identified by the identification information.
12 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein
the outputting includes outputting the sound identified by the identification information prior to output of the audio information of the contents.
13 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein
the creating includes creating the identification information by determining values of parameters at random.
14 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein
the creating includes creating the identification information by determining values of parameters based on the information read.
15 . A computer-readable recording medium that stores therein a computer program for outputting audio information on contents as sound, the computer program making a computer execute:
receiving information on contents that has been converted into an electronic form; retrieving identification information unique to each recording medium, the identification information created based on the information read; creating identification information for a recording medium for which the identification information has not been retrieved at the retrieving; and instructing a sound generator to output sound identified by the identification information.
16 . The computer-readable recording medium according to claim 15 , wherein
the outputting includes outputting the sound identified by the identification information prior to output of the audio information of the contents.
17 . The computer-readable recording medium according to claim 15 , wherein
the creating includes creating the identification information by determining values of parameters at random.
18 . The computer-readable recording medium according to claim 15 , wherein
the creating includes creating the identification information by determining values of parameters based on the information read.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
