Abstract
This invention relates to a packing for electronic components and devices and preferably for notebooks, characterized in that the packing includes at least two pivotally connected elements which can be swivelled between at least one first swivel position and at least one second swivel position, wherein in the second swivel position the elements have a smaller swivel angle with respect to each other than in the first swivel position, and wherein in the second swivel position the elements define a space for accommodating the component to be packed.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A packing for electronic components and devices wherein the packing includes at least two pivotally connected elements which are configured to be swivelled between at least one first swivel position and at least one second swivel position, wherein in the second swivel position the pivotally connected elements have a smaller swivel angle with respect to each other than in the first swivel position, and wherein in the second swivel position the pivotally connected elements define a space for accommodating the component to be packed.
. The packing as claimed in claim 1 , wherein one or more Pivotally connected elements have locking means which fix the elements relative to each other in the second swivel position.
. The packing as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the locking means comprise a projection and a recess, the projection and the recess being arranged at the pivotally connected elements such that in the second swivel position the projection is at least partly received in the recess.
. The packing as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the locking means is configured such that a dovetail connection exists between the pivotally connected elements.
. The packing as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the pivotally connected elements include a receiving portion and one, two or more than two edge portions which define the receiving portion on one, on two or on more than two sides.
. The packing as claimed in claim 5 , wherein one or more pivotally connected elements have locking means which fix the pivotally connected elements relative to each other in the second swivel position, and wherein the locking means are disposed in the receiving portion and/or in the edge portion.
. The packing as claimed in claim 5 , wherein the edge portions of the pivotally connected elements are configured such that in the second swivel position the edge portions lie on top of each other and that the receiving portions of the pivotally connected elements are configured such that in the second swivel position the receiving portions define a space for accommodating the component to be packed.
. The packing as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the elements have a receiving portion which includes bearing portions spaced from each other.
. The packing as claimed in claim 8 , wherein the bearing portions are spaced from each other in a direction of a swivel axis of the pivotally connected elements and/or in a direction vertical to the swivel axis of the elements.
. The packing as claimed in claim 9 , wherein webs or grooves extend between the bearing portions spaced in the direction of the swivel axis of the elements and accurate portions extend between the bearing portions spaced from each other in a direction vertical to the swivel axis of the elements.
. The packing as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the packing comprises three elements, two of which are arranged substantially parallel in the second swivel position and with one swivel axis each are connected with the third element.
. The packing as claimed claim 1 , wherein the pivotally connected elements of the packing are arranged such that in the second swivel position the pivotally connected elements define a space which is open on one side only.
. The packing as claimed in claim 11 , wherein a third element of the pivotally connected elements is configured such that in the second swivel position the third element has projections or bulges pointing to an outside with respect to the space for accommodating the component.
. The packing as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the packing includes a plurality of elements which are arranged such that a first element and a last element of the packing are arranged parallel to each other in the second swivel position.
. The packing as claimed in claim 1 , wherein one of the pivotally connected elements is formed by a plate-like component.
. The packing as claimed in claim 15 , wherein on one or more sides, the plate-like component is pivotally connected with one or more further elements of the packing.
. The packing as claimed in claim 15 , wherein the plate-like component includes a bearing surface as well as one or more edge portions which define the bearing surface and protrude beyond the same.
. The packing as claimed in claim 17 , wherein in the bearing surface protrusions are provided, which are outwardly protruding with respect to the same.
. The packing as claimed in claim 17 , wherein the plate-like component has a rectangular or square configuration, on two opposite sides of the component the edge portions are provided, which are raised with respect to the bearing surface, and on the two remaining sides of the plate-like component one or more further elements are pivotally mounted.
. The packing as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the packing is deep-drawing formed packing.
. The packing as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the packing comprises a plastically deformable material.
. A method comprising:
accommodating electronic components and devices, including notebooks, in a space with a packing, the packing comprising at least two pivotally connected elements which are configured to be swivelled between at least one first swivel position and at least one second swivel position, wherein in the second swivel position the pivotally connected elements have a smaller swivel angle with respect to each other than in the first swivel position, and wherein in the second swivel position the pivotally connected elements define the.
. These method as claimed in claim 22 , further comprising during assembly, resting the notebook on a plate-like component formed by one of the pivotally connected elements and subsequent to the assembly, another pivotally connected element is swivelled relative to the plate-like component.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
