Weighted textile

Abstract

A weighted textile is described. The weighted textile comprises a flexible textile sheet having a weighted portion and an un-weighted portion. The weighted portion includes a weight affixed therewith. Thus, a user can place the weighted portion upon a surface with the un-weighted portion being hung off of the surface, thereby resulting in the weighted textile being held in place.

1 . A weighted textile, comprising:
 a flexible textile sheet having a weighted portion and an un-weighted portion, the weighted portion having a weight affixed therewith, whereby a user can place the weighted portion upon a surface with the un-weighted portion being hung off of the surface, thereby resulting in the weighted textile being held in place.   
   
   
       2 . A weighted textile as set forth in  claim 1 , wherein the textile sheet is formed of a cotton sheet. 
   
   
       3 . A weighted textile as set forth in  claim 2 , wherein the textile sheet has an outer edge and the weighted portion is formed along the textile sheet's outer edge. 
   
   
       4 . A weighted textile as set forth in  claim 3 , wherein the weighted portion includes a sand pocket sewn within the textile sheet. 
   
   
       5 . A weighted textile as set forth in  claim 3 , wherein the weighted portion includes weights affixed with the textile sheet. 
   
   
       6 . A weighted textile as set forth in  claim 3 , wherein the weighted portion includes a chain sewn within the textile sheet. 
   
   
       7 . A weighted textile, comprising:
 a flexible textile sheet having a weighted portion and an un-weighted portion, the weighted portion having a weight affixed therewith;   wherein the textile sheet is formed of a cotton sheet;   wherein the textile sheet has an outer edge and the weighted portion is formed along the textile sheet's outer edge; and   wherein the weighted portion is weighted using a weight selected from a group consisting of sand, a solid weight, and a chain, whereby a user can place the weighted portion upon a surface with the un-weighted portion being hung off of the surface, thereby resulting in the weighted textile being held in place.
