Abstract
Methods, systems, and computer program products are disclosed for generating emergency alerts. A communication is processed from a calling communications address to an emergency response communications address. A profile is associated to the calling communications address and to the emergency response communications address. A physical address associated with the calling communications address is retrieved, and an emergency alert control signal is generated. The emergency alert control signal is sent that activates an emergency alert at the physical address.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method, comprising:
processing a communication from a calling communications address to an emergency response communications address; associating a profile to the calling communications address and to the emergency response communications address; retrieving from the profile a physical address associated with the calling communications address; generating an emergency alert control signal; and sending the emergency alert control signal that activates an emergency alert at the physical address.
2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising using a speech decoder that listens to the communication to obtain the physical address.
3 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising using an instruction from the calling communications address to generate the emergency alert control signal.
4 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising using an instruction from the emergency response communications address to generate the emergency alert control signal.
5 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising receiving a voice-activated menu prompt to generate the emergency alert control signal.
6 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising sending the emergency alert control signal during an on-hook state.
7 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising sending the emergency alert control signal during an off-hook state.
8 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising detecting an incoming line identification signal.
9 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising receiving a dual-tone multi-frequency selection from the calling communications address.
10 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising receiving a code from the calling communications address that blocks the emergency alert control signal from being sent.
11 . A system, comprising:
means for processing a communication from a calling communications address to an emergency response communications address; means for associating a profile to the calling communications address and to the emergency response communications address; means for retrieving from the profile a physical address associated with the calling communications address; means for generating an emergency alert control signal; and means for sending the emergency alert control signal that activates an emergency alert at the physical address.
12 . The system of claim 11 , further comprising means for using a speech decoder that listens to the communication to obtain the physical address.
13 . The system of claim 11 , further comprising means for using an instruction from the calling communications address to generate the emergency alert control signal.
14 . The system of claim 11 , further comprising means for using an instruction from the emergency response communications address to generate the emergency alert control signal.
15 . The system of claim 11 , further comprising means for receiving a voice-activated menu prompt to generate the emergency alert control signal.
16 . The system of claim 11 , further comprising means for detecting an incoming line identification signal.
17 . The system of claim 11 , further comprising means for receiving a dual-tone multi-frequency selection from the calling communications address.
18 . The system of claim 11 , further comprising means for receiving a code from the calling communications address that blocks the emergency alert control signal from being sent.
19 . A computer readable medium storing processor executable instructions for performing a method, the method comprising:
processing a communication from a calling communications address to an emergency response communications address; associating a profile to the calling communications address and to the emergency response communications address; retrieving from the profile a physical address associated with the calling communications address; generating an emergency alert control signal; and sending the emergency alert control signal that activates an emergency alert at the physical address.
20 . The computer readable medium of claim 19 , further comprising instructions for using a speech decoder that listens to the communication to obtain the physical address.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
