Linking puzzle game and method
Abstract
A linking puzzle game and method of play involving one or more players and including a playing surface having at least one, but preferably, a plurality of puzzle areas of varying degrees of difficulty. A plurality of base zones are disposed in an interconnecting relation to one another on each of the one or more puzzle areas, wherein at least one indicia is associated therewith, such as via a plurality of game pieces randomly distributed thereon. A plurality of action pieces each having predetermined indicia disposed thereon which corresponds to an objective goal which is reached by adding or performing another mathematical operation on the indicia of game pieces disposed on appropriate ones of interconnected base zones.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method of playing a game comprising:
providing a playing surface comprising at least one puzzle area, the at least one puzzle area including a plurality of interconnecting base zones disposed thereon, associating at least one indicia with the plurality of interconnecting base zones, identifying an objective goal, and indicating at least one connected link of the plurality of interconnected base zones, wherein the at least one connected link corresponds to the identified objective goal.
2 . The method recited in claim 1 further comprising displaying the at least one indicia on the plurality of interconnecting base zones.
3 . The method recited in claim 2 further comprising indicating the connected link on the at least one puzzle area.
4 . The method recited in claim 1 further comprising initially orienting a plurality of game pieces bearing the indicia thereon into an at least partially overlying relation to the plurality of interconnecting base zones.
5 . The method recited in claim 4 further comprising randomly orienting the plurality of game pieces into an at least partially overlying relation with the plurality of interconnected base zones.
6 . The method recited in claim 5 further comprising placing the game pieces into a game piece container, emptying the game piece container onto the puzzle area, and randomly disposing the game pieces into an at least partially overlying relation with the plurality of interconnected base zones corresponding to the orientation in which the game pieces fall thereon.
7 . The method recited in claim 4 comprising maintaining the plurality of game pieces in the initially oriented overlying relation to the plurality of interconnected base zones.
8 . The method recited in claim 1 further comprising providing at least one operable device structured to at least partially resemble the at least one puzzle area and the plurality of interconnected base zones disposed thereon.
9 . The method recited in claim 8 further comprising indicating the at least one connected link on the at least one operable device.
10 . The method recited in claim 9 further comprising verifying that the at least one operable device accurately denotes a connected link corresponding to the objective goal.
11 . The method recited in claim 1 further comprising providing the playing surface in a digital electronic medium.
12 . The method recited in claim 1 further comprising identifying the objective goal via player vocalization.
13 . The method recited in claim 1 further comprising initially suppressing the at least one indicia associated with the plurality of interconnecting base zones.
14 . The method recited in claim 13 further comprising selectively revealing the at least one indicia.
15 . The method recited in claim 1 wherein identifying the objective goal comprises randomly selecting an action piece bearing a predetermined indicia defining the objective goal.
16 . The method recited in claim 1 further comprising expressing a predetermined terminating expression.
17 . The method recited in claim 1 comprising providing a playing surface having a plurality of puzzle areas disposed thereon.
18 . The method recited in claim 17 comprising attempting to obtain a predetermined score by successively playing the plurality of puzzle areas.
19 . The method recited in clam 1 further comprising indicating a plurality of connected links, wherein the plurality of connected links collectively correspond to the objective goal.
20 . A method of playing a linking puzzle game comprising:
providing a playing surface comprising at least one puzzle area, the at least one puzzle area including a plurality of base zones disposed thereon, wherein the plurality of bases zones are disposed in an interconnecting relation to one another, associating at least one numbered indicia with the plurality of base zones, identifying a numerical value, choosing at least one mathematical operation, applying the at least one mathematical operation to a connected link of the plurality of base zones, and indicating the connected link of the plurality of base zones having a total equal to the identified numerical value.
21 . A linking puzzle game comprising:
at least one player, at least one playing surface, wherein said at least one playing surface includes at least one puzzle area disposed thereon, said at least one puzzle area including a plurality of base zones disposed in an interconnecting relation, a plurality of game pieces having predetermined indicia disposed thereon, said plurality of game pieces being structured to be disposed in an overlying relation with said plurality of base zones, and a plurality of action pieces bearing predetermined indicia disposed thereon corresponding to an objective goal.
22 . The linking puzzle game recited in claim 21 wherein said plurality of base zones and said plurality of game pieces are cooperatively structured to facilitate said plurality of game pieces to be disposed in an at least partially overlying relation with said plurality of base zones.
23 . The linking puzzle game recited in claim 21 wherein said predetermined indicia on said game pieces comprises numbered indicia.
24 . The linking puzzle game recited in claim 22 wherein said objective goal is a numerical value.
25 . The linking puzzle game recited in claim 24 wherein said numbered indicia on said game pieces represent numerical values 1 through 23.
26 . The linking puzzle game recited in claim 25 wherein said predetermined indicia disposed on said action pieces represent numerical values 24 through 99.
27 . The linking puzzle game recited in claim 21 wherein said at least one playing surface includes a plurality of puzzle areas disposed thereon.
28 . The linking puzzle game recited in claim 27 wherein said plurality of puzzle areas are disposed in a predetermined orientation progressively increasing in difficulty.
29 . The linking puzzle game recited in claim 27 wherein said plurality of base zones of each of said plurality of puzzle areas are disposed in a uniquely oriented predetermined interconnecting relation.
30 . The linking puzzle game recited in claim 21 further comprising a plurality of connectors disposed in an interconnecting relation between each of said plurality of base zones and at least one proximately disposed other of said plurality of base zones.
31 . The linking puzzle game recited in claim 30 wherein said plurality of connectors are disposed in an interconnecting relation between each of said plurality of base zones and a plurality proximately disposed others of said base zones.
