Abstract
Apparatus for the long-term operation of a heterogeneously catalyzed gas phase partial oxidation of at least one organic compound over a catalyst bed, in which, in order to counteract the deactivation of the catalyst bed, the working pressure in the gas phase is increased during the operating time of the catalyst bed.

13 . An apparatus comprising at least one oxidation reactor and at least one apparatus, disposed downstream of the outlet of the at least one oxidation reactor, for controlling the working pressure in the at least one oxidation reactors wherein
the apparatus is for the long-term operation of a heterogeneously catalyzed gas phase partial oxidation of at least one organic compound.

An apparatus comprising at least one oxidation reactor, at least one column connected downstream of the oxidation reactor and having separating internals and an apparatus, connected downstream of the oxidation reactor, for controlling the working pressure in the at least one oxidation reactor, wherein
the apparatus is for the long-term operation of a heterogeneously catalyzed gas phase partial oxidation of at least one organic compound.

The apparatus according to claim 14 , wherein the oxidation reactor comprises a catalyst bed and an air compressor which is designed to maintain a working pressure range of from >0.5 to 4 bar at a given hourly space velocity on the catalyst bed disposed in the oxidation reactor of starting reaction gas mixture.
16 . The apparatus according to claims 13 or 14 , wherein the at least one oxidation reactor is a tube bundle reactor.
17 . The apparatus according to claims 13 or 14 , wherein the apparatus for controlling the working pressure is a perforated diaphragm.
