Abstract
A copy-protected optical recording medium, a method for driving thereof and a method for manufacturing thereof, wherein the optical recording medium includes at least one region whose address is designated to be said same with that of other region of the medium.

A copy-protected optical recording medium capable of being reproduced by a general reproducing apparatus, comprising: at least one overlapping zone, address values allocated to data recorded thereon overlapping with address values of another area of said recording medium; and driving information recorded on said recording medium for controlling said reproducing apparatus to read data recorded on said at least one overlapping zone.
