Pressure-sensitive adhesive composition
Abstract
The present invention aims at provision of a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition that affords a cured product having good adhesive property. Reduction of the amount of tackifier resin to be used, which is attributable to the good adhesive property, is a secondary object of the present invention. The above-mentioned problem can be solved by a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition containing (A) a polyoxyalkylene polymer having at least one alkenyl group in one molecule, (B) a compound having 1 to 3 hydrosilyl groups on average in one molecule, and (C) a hydrosilylation catalyst as essential components.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 6 . (canceled)
7 . A method providing a pressure-sensitive adhesive coated substrate, comprising,
a) providing a composition capable of being crosslinked to form a pressure-sensitive adhesive comprising (A) a polyoxyalkylene polymer having at least one alkenyl group in one molecule, (B) a compound having 1 to 3 hydrosilyl groups on average in one molecule and (C) a hydrosilylation catalyst as essential components; and b) applying the composition to a substrate;
wherein the composition is thermally cured to provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive product.
8 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the composition is directly coated onto the substrate.
9 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the composition is coated onto a release paper and cured to form a pressure-sensitive adhesive coating film, followed by transfer of the pressure-sensitive adhesive coating film to the substrate.
10 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the substrate is selected from the group consisting of a film made of a synthetic resin or modified natural substance, paper, fabric and metal foil.
11 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the substrate is a film selected from the group consisting of polyethylene, polypropylene, polyimide, polycarbonate, polyvinyl chloride, polyester, polyurethane, and cellophane.
12 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the substrate is selected from the group consisting of impregnated paper, coated paper, quality paper, kraft paper, fabric, acetate fabric, nonwoven fabric and glass fabric.
13 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the substrate is a laminate of at least two layers of materials.
14 . The method of claim 7 , wherein said compound (B) has a structural formula represented by the following formula (1):
wherein 1≦m≦3 and 1≦n≦8.
15 . The method of claim 7 , wherein said compound (B) has 1:8-2.8 hydrosilyl groups on average in one molecule and a number average molecular weight of 400-3000.
16 . The method of claim 7 , wherein [amount of hydrosilyl group in said compound (B)]/[total amount of alkenyl group in component (A)] is 0.4-0.8.
17 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the polyoxyalkylene polymer having an alkenyl group for said (A) has a number average molecular weight of 6,000.
18 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the polyoxyalkylene polymer for said (A) has 1-2 alkenyl groups on average in one molecule.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
