Abstract
The present invention provides a vector system comprising a nucleotide sequence coding for an antibody. In particular, the present invention relates to the use of such a vector system in a subject, where the nucleotide sequence is expressed in vivo to produce said antibody.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method for delivery of an antibody for treating a non-cancerous disease in a subject, said method comprising directly administering to a cell in the subject a lentiviral vector comprising a nucleotide sequence encoding an antibody, wherein the antibody is expressed in the cell, thereby stimulating an immune response and treating the non-cancerous disease in the subject.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the non-cancerous disease is an immune system disease, a cardiovascular disease, an infectious disease, an eye disease, or a neurological disorder.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the antibody is humanized.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the antibody is a monoclonal antibody.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the antibody is a single chain antibody.
6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the antibody is a human antibody.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
