Simplified cap for oil bottles

Abstract

Simplified cap for oil bottles that allows reduction of cap size, with the subsequent advantages in terms of lower weight and savings on raw material, being comprised of a body that includes a tilting cap and lower flap fixed to the bottle neck, in addition to a pouring spout body disposed between the cap body and bottle neck, where said pouring spout body adopts a flat bottom with radial slots emerging from a flat central area, while a circumferential rib that defines an annular area ending in a second circumferential rib for anchoring the end of the bottle neck emerges from the central outer area of the pouring spout wall.

1 . Simplified cap for an oil bottles, comprising a cap body that incorporates a tilting cap and lower flange fixed to a bottle neck, and
 a pouring spout body disposed between the cap body and the bottle neck,   wherein the pouring spout body has a flat bottom with radial slots that emerge from a flat central area, while a circumferential rib that defines an annular area ending in a second circumferential rib for anchoring an end of the bottle neck emerges from a central outer area of a pouring spout wall.   
     
     
         2 . Simplified cap for oil bottles, according to  claim 1 , wherein the slots disposed on the flat bottom of the pouring spout have an elongated trapezoid shape. 
     
     
         3 . Simplified cap for oil bottles, according to  claim 1 , wherein the slots disposed on the flat bottom of the pouring spout have an elongated triangular shape. 
     
     
         4 . Simplified cap for oil bottles, according to  claim 1 , wherein the rib attached to the bottle neck includes a series of weakenings disposed circumferentially in the plastic material, configured to break upon extraction of the cap body. 
     
     
         5 . Simplified cap for oil bottles, according to  claim 1 , wherein the pouring spout cap has an outer circumferential rib that defines an annular area that ends in a rib that, together with the bottle neck rib, is configured to retain the pouring spout body.

Simplified cap for oil bottles, according to  claim 1 , wherein an initial joint between the sealing cap and fixing ring attached to the bottle neck is carried out by means of the hinge body and sealing points made of the same material as the cap, disposed along the joint between the bodies.
