Screen wall system

Abstract

A screen wall system that provides the ability to form a screen wall using just a few, particular channel members and corresponding adapter members. One of the few, particular channel members is a “U” channel member that can be used to form other types of channel members. Each adapter member can be removably attached to one or two channel members to form “F” channel members, “H” channel members and corner members that are collectively used to assembly a screen wall.

1 . A “U” channel member comprising:
 a pair of opposing sidewalls;   a base joined to said opposing sidewalls to provide a generally “U” shaped structure defining a channel between said sidewalls;   said base having an interior side that forms part of said channel and an opposite exterior side; and   said exterior side having at least one longitudinally extending groove therein.
