Outboard motor and steering system motion stabilizer, for trailering of boat and motor

Abstract

An outboard motor and steering system motion stabilizer that positively locks the outboard motor and steering system in the proper position for trailering. This design effectively isolates the road-to-trailer-to-motor shock transfer that is delivered to the lower unit of the outboard by traditional transom savers that brace the outboard to the trailer. This invention is universally designed to be easy for the user to setup to fit most outboard brands and sizes with hydraulic tilt and trim systems.

1 . An outboard motor and steering system motion stabilizer that positively locks the outboard motor and steering system in the proper position for trailering. This design effectively isolates the road-to-trailer-to-motor shock transfer that is delivered to the lower unit of the outboard by traditional transom savers that brace the outboard to the trailer. This invention is universally designed to be easy for the user to setup to fit most outboard brands and sizes with hydraulic tilt and trim systems. 
   
   
       2 . The outboard is lowered with the hydraulic tilt and trim system with the invention positioned between the outboards lower unit yoke bolt heads, and outboards pivoting mounting bracket assembly until all movement is positively locked out from both the outboard pivot and the steering system, and the motor is completely isolated from the boat trailer.
