Claims

Abstract

A method of sensing a property of each of a plurality of samples is disclosed. The method includes disposing a sensor chip in each sample, the sensor chip being adapted to sense the property of a respective sample and comprising sensing electronics, a wireless communication device and an identifier. Each sensor chip is then registered and sensed data is received from each of the registered sensor chips concurrently via the respective wireless communication device.

1 . A method of identifying a sample, the method comprising:
 receiving an identification data from a container, the container including an RFID tag and being configured to store the sample, the RFID tag being configured to store the identification data and transmit the identification data;   determining whether the identification data is new; and   registering the identification data if the identification data is new.   
   
   
       2 . The method according to  claim 1 , the RFID tag being configured to extract power from a radio frequency signal. 
   
   
       3 . The method according to  claim 1 , the container having a sensor chip which is configured to detect a property data of the sample and transmit the property data. 
   
   
       4 . The method according to  claim 3 , the first sensor chip being configured to extract power from a radio frequency signal. 
   
   
       5 . The method according to  claim 3 , the property data being registered if the identification data is new. 
   
   
       6 . The method according to  claim 3 , the first sensor chip including an RFID circuitry. 
   
   
       7 . The method according to  claim 1 , the identification data being received by a base station. 
   
   
       8 . The method according to  claim 1 , further comprising:
 setting the container in a holder before the of receiving the identification data.   
   
   
       9 . The method according to  claim 1 , the first container being a test tube. 
   
   
       10 . A base station comprising:
 a transceiver circuit which is configured to receive an identification data emitted from a container, the container having an RFID tag and being configured to store a sample, the RFID tag being configured to store the identification data and transmit the identification data;   a data processing section which is configured to determine whether the identification data is new; and   a memory which is configured to register the identification data if the identification data is new.   
   
   
       11 . The base station according to  claim 10 , the memory registering a property data of the sample, the property data being detected by a sensor chip and emitted by the sensor chip. 
   
   
       12 . The method according to  claims 10 , the first container being a test tube. 
   
   
       13 . An RFID tag which is configured to be attached on a container, the container holding a sample, the RFID tag comprising:
 an RFID circuitry being configured to extract a power by receiving a radio frequency signal; and   a memory being configured to store an identification data of the container.   
   
   
       14 . The RFID tag according to  claim 13 , the RFID circuitry being configured to transmit the identification data of the container.
