Abstract

A gaming apparatus includes a moveable display surface and an actuator that is coupled to the display surface for moving the display surface. A transparent organic light emitting display is positioned adjacent to the display surface. The transparent organic light emitting display is configured to display a presentation and to allow a player to view at least a portion of the display surface through the transparent organic light emitting display. A controller is in communication with the actuator and the transparent organic light emitting display. The controller is configured to control the position of the display surface and to control the presentation.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A gaming apparatus comprising:
 (A) a display surface, the display surface comprising a flexible moveable belt; (B) an actuator coupled to the display surface and configured to move the display surface; (C) a transparent organic light emitting display positioned adjacent to the display surface, the transparent organic light emitting display being configured to display a presentation and allow a player to view at least a portion of the display surface through the transparent organic light emitting display; and (D) a controller in communication with the actuator and the transparent organic light emitting display, the controller configured to control the position of the display surface and to control the presentation.

         2 . The gaming apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the display surface comprises at least one indicia that is viewable through the transparent organic light emitting display by the player.

         3 . The gaming apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the transparent organic light emitting display indicates the indicia on the display surface.

         4 . The gaming apparatus of claim 3 , wherein the indicated indicia communicates a game outcome.

         5 . The gaming apparatus of claim 4 , wherein at least one payline is displayed on the transparent organic light emitting display.

         6 . The gaming apparatus of claim 5 , wherein the payline indicates the indicia on the display surface that form the game outcome.

         7 . The gaming apparatus of claim 5 , wherein a plurality of paylines are displayed on the transparent organic light emitting display, the player being allowed to select at least one of the paylines.

         8 . The gaming apparatus of claim 5 , wherein the player is allowed to select at least a portion of the payline.

         9 . A method of gaming, not all necessarily in the order shown, comprising:
 (A) accepting a wager; (B) moving a display surface comprising a flexible belt; (C) displaying a presentation on a transparent organic light emitting display positioned adjacent to the display surface, the transparent organic light emitting display being configured to allow a player to view at least a portion of the display surface through the transparent organic light emitting display; (D) stopping the display surface; and (E) indicating a game outcome, wherein in combination the display surface and the transparent organic light emitting display indicate the game outcome.

         10 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the presentation shows at least one payline on the transparent organic light emitting display.

         11 . The method of claim 10 , further comprising allowing the player to select at least one payline.

         12 . The method of claim 10 , further comprising allowing the player to select at least a portion of the payline.

         13 . A gaming apparatus comprising:
 (A) a display surface, the display surface comprising a flexible moveable belt;   (B) an actuator in communication with the display surface and configured to move the display surface;   (C) a transparent organic light emitting display positioned adjacent to the display surface, the transparent organic light emitting display being configured to display a presentation and allow a player to view at least a portion of the display surface through the transparent organic light emitting display:   (D) a controller in communication with the actuator and the transparent organic light emitting display, the controller configured to:   (D1) determine a game outcome;
 (D2) move the display surface;
 (D3) stop the display surface;
 (D4) show the presentation on the transparent organic light emitting display; and
 (D5) indicate the game outcome.

         14 . The gaming apparatus of claim 13 , wherein the display surface comprises at least one indicia that is viewable through the transparent organic light emitting display.

         15 . The gaining apparatus of claim 14 , wherein the transparent organic light emitting display indicates the indicia on the display surface.

         16 . The gaming apparatus of claim 13 , wherein a player input device is in communication with the controller.

         17 . The gaming apparatus of claim 14 , wherein at least one payline is displayed on the transparent organic light emitting display.

         18 . The gaming apparatus of claim 17 , wherein the payline indicates the indicia on the display surface that form the game outcome.
