Abstract
A particular winning hand combination is converted into a different winning hand combination with a higher payout amount. In the preferred embodiment, whenever the player achieves a poker hand of Three-of-a-Kind and two Aces, the hand converts to a Four-of-a-Kind and the player receives the payout amount associated with Four-of-a-Kind.

A method of playing a card game in which a player plays against a pay table comprising: a) dealing an initial hand to the player; b) allowing the player to discard any unwanted cards from the initial hand; c) dealing replacement cards for the discarded cards resulting in a final hand; d) if the final hand has a winning card combination of two Aces and a Three-of-a-Kind, providing the player with an award from the pay table for a winning hand combination of a Four-of-a-Kind.
