Abstract

Various embodiments of the present invention provide an inexpensive and easy to use apparatus and method that permits a user to attach an apparatus to existing picture frames or other objects with various advantages. Such embodiments will keep a picture, object or frame in a substantially continuously level position or otherwise aligned position. Thus, using the disclosed apparatus, a user can ensure that any picture, frame or other hanging and relatively flat object will generally remain in a pleasantly horizontal or other desired aspect, without need for ongoing user inspection or manual adjustment.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . An apparatus comprising:
 a. a sensor which determines an angle of an object with respect to a plane; and b. a driving component which causes movement in the object based on the angle.

2 . The apparatus of claim 1 , in which the driving component causes movement while the angle is greater than a threshold.

3 . The apparatus of claim 1 , in which the driving component causes movement in a portion of the object such that the orientation of the object changes based on the angle.

4 . The apparatus of claim 3 , in which the driving component causes movement in a portion of the object in a direction that reduces the angle.

5 . The apparatus of claim 4 , in which the driving component causes movement in a portion of the object in a direction that reduces the angle until the angle is less than a threshold.

6 . The apparatus of claim 1 , in which the driving component causes movement in a portion of the object in a direction that increases the angle.

7 . The apparatus of claim 6 , in which the driving component causes movement in a portion of the object in a direction that increases the angle until the angle is greater than a threshold.
