Abstract
A shelf structure adapted to be detachably secured adjacent a windowsill to provide a perch for a cat(s). The shelf structure comprises a tray having a floor. Walls extend upwardly and peripherally from the floor. A plurality of vertically adjustable adjustment tracks is disposed on an exterior surface of one of walls of the tray. A thin, flexible, elongate adjustment and retaining strap adjustably extends from each of the adjustment tracks. A collapsible support strut assembly depends from the undersurface of the floor of the tray. The support strut assembly is adapted to engage the vertical wall adjacent the windowsill.
